I do not care for conformation bred Poms at all, but couldn't help but smile continuously at this one! What a fun, adorable little dog.

Also enjoyed the Newfoundland "hugging" his handler at the end, I found that very cute. A lovely dog overall, I liked that one.

Dude, people are crazy mad about this stuff. Most of them are making Mega excuses saying the vets are disqualifying any dog with any amount of haw showing. Has anyone got a link that is FOR the vet checks?

I just want to say this thread has made me appreciate this forum so much. All over the internet and on forums people are FLIPPING out about this and it felt like a breath of fresh air reading on this thread.

ME TOO. I have a lot of facebook friends who show in conformation and they're SO UPSET that vets are DQing dogs! Seriously?? Ugh! I read facebook and think, "am I crazy??" and then I come to Chaz and find some sanity again. :)

Me too. I won't really get into it on the other forums.

I wish I could post some of the nonsense I've been seeing over at Facebook and the blogs. Most of it is wild speculation or outrage that the vet check wasn't done *before* BOB. Others that it was burning good kennel names or discouraging work being done towards healthier dogs.

My favorite was someone telling me how much improvement there was in moving pekes from the older style more towards the written standard. My only thought was yes, I often breed animals to look like storybook characters of another species and call it an improvement.

Biggest UK dog forum I know has nothing but praise on it.

You'll find the people who don't like it will shout the loudest.

Not all the vulnerable breeds were disqualified, and I am SURE that will do nothing but positive things for those breeders (they have something else to brag about).

They can shout all they like, the kc have made it quite clear they're standing by their decision.

Oh my GOD, that poor dog. That is an absolute outrage! How is this not a **** issue with these people, seriously? Good on everyone refusing to attend because of this. That is nothing short if despicable.
