Nothing too fancy, just a flat surface for my friends and I to play tabletop games on.

Ended up with 4 layers of each color of stain, plus 4 coats of clear coat on top of that. The table legs only have one coat of stain because I frankly don't care too much about those, and I can switch them out if needed.

Good job! What's with the Third Reich eagle though?

But...wanna come make one of those for me?

It is not a 3rd Reich Eagle. HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE EMPEROR'S SYMBOL IN SUCH A WAY!

(It's the Imperial Eagle from the main table top game that my friends will be playing... Warhammer 40K.)

Sweet action. So I take it you're not a big fan of the orcs or the Seraphon... (I think that's what they were called. Only played 40k once).

I'm not a real big fan of any of them... I doubt I'll even play. I just like working with wood and building things :)

Is it embarrassing that I knew the answer to Zoom's question before you posted this?

Never played, but have given up half my kitchen for an epic 3 week long battle.
Also, I have a thing for nerds ;)

p.s. incredible job! I am envious of your woodworking skills...

Like a bottle of Jack and keeping your underage ass out of jail at the same time?
I've already got a bottle of Jack... just got one earlier tonight. I'm enjoying my 2nd Jack and Coke right now :D

I was thinking more along the lines of free food and paying me to make the table...

Probably a better offer than your 40k friends made! :rofl1:
They're the ones who got me the aforementioned bottle...

Not to mention if I want a beer, another one of the guys that lives here brews his own, so we have some Honey Mead sitting in our garage... it's some good stuff :D

How about the fact that I'm your sister and I'm sure you owe me for something?

Or can I just pay you in beer?

If I was planning to use it for some 'co-ed recreational activities', I'd be putting on a couple more braces, if that answers your question ;)
