Poorly bred and not well fed.. The skull is distinctive.. My sister has Leo's. You can spot it quickly. That dog is in poor condition and even looks like she has been shaved.. what a shame..

I actually see a GSD mix but I suppose it could go either way.
Yea really except the bone structure
-... I am sure the club doesn't know about this as in this breeding- they know all the other breedings... frightening isnt it? Judging by the mane around the head it looks like the dog was shaved too. Different coat texture.

No- its easy to see- low shoulder, narrow front, narrow chest... Easy to see if you know the breed...
I was referring to your use of the words "poorly bred" as you were saying not too long ago that it was a slap.. since you do not know the genetics of the dog in question in this thread, I was surprised at your response.

This is a breed its easy to tell... Knowing the breed very well- you can see it.. This isnt a high rear shepherd- Leos are a old breed and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in genetics..

Leos have a tight gene pool. Its not like other breeds.. And they have standards within the club what can breed and what can not. If not bred within the club its " poorly bred"... Leo people are really serious people...

And these "Leo people" have a lock on the Leo market? And if your dog isn't bred by them it is "poorly bred"? Scary people. May the good Lord protect me from people like this.

Leo People know each litter. Until it hits the AKC it will be so. IN the Leo club as it stands only champions are bred. One of the big fears of the club is that once the breed is accepted AKC ( and was since July) who knows what will breed one.
This is not a pet quality dog. This dog is extreme.. Sorry all- I know the breed. I would even suggest a dna to insure the dog is a Leo if the Leo had dna breed... To me its as obvious as calling a long haired whippet a borzoi...

BM any dog no matter how well bred can fall out of standard. In ANY breed. Unless they are as inbred as cheetahs there will be genetic variation. Even basenji's and LHW are not that inbred so I doubt leos are.
