Barking terrier X

My boss has a small terrier X that barks and jumps on me when I arrive at work. Because he belongs to my boss I find it difficult to scold or as someone suggested, toss a bit of water in its face. Any suggestions or previous posts on this subject? I am new to the site so if this has been addressed previously, plse let me know.

I wouldn't care if it were my bosses dog...

Bosses dog or not, a dog with NO manners just isn't fun.

Do you acknowledge the behavior at all? If you do.. you might just want to start ignoring it completely, do not reinforce it at all.

And, really, tell your boss that his/her whipper snapper isn't all that cute when it's jumping up at you barking.

Well it is not the dogs fault that it has not been properly trained, so I would direct my issues to the boss, and give him/her a wedgy, melvin, tighty wighty. If they are really stupid, yank really hard.
