I'm pretty sure you can get instructions to make a cat tree if you google. I ordered my cat tree off the internet. There are dozens of sites to look at, and I'm pretty sure I saw some make-it-yourself sites.

I used have an adult cat and young dog combo and it was the same story, pups looking to play all the time and sees the cat as a source of fun.Puss just wants a quiet corner to chill out.The novelty value of the cat will wear off as Buddy gets older and the cat has dished out a couple of warnings. My cat actually got to like the attention and would go to the dog and initiate some playtime.

pocket warmer- that would be great! We "caught" them in a spare bedroom snoozing on the same bed earlier today, but the cat will still hiss and do a little spat here and there....and, of course, Buddy will chase.

My husband doesn't know it yet, but he's making a cat tree this weekend. :) I'll let you know how it goes Fran! ;)
