I always thought peeing in a public area falls into the category of indecent exposure. When did it become a sex crime?

Indecent exposure is on the Megan's Law sex-offense list and the level of severity is handled differently from state to state. Depending on where you are and whether or not sexual gratification is needed as part of the "crime" you may have to register as a SO. Scary, huh?

Well i see a DISTINCT difference between urinating in the bushes and exposing yourself in front of kids or at someone's window. DISTINCT.
