Names, names, names!

We are getting a new male puppy, poodle/labrador retriever mix, on June 17th. We're still not sure what to name him! We were thinking Baxter. What would you suggest for him?

What a cutiepie! Whenever I have gotten a pup it usually takes me a while to come up with a name as I usually try to find a name that fits the dog and his personality. It has been known to take me a few days!

Uhm, Baxter is a cute name. Look on the internet for baby names. That's what I usually do to get some ideas.

Thanks for all the suggestions I'll let the rest of the family know what you've all said. Still open for suggestions though, because I'm not sure what the kids will like. We were going to wait until we knew him for a few days, but I'm afraid the kids will start calling him different names and everything will get confusing.
