With me cleaning like a maid all day, I have to ask, what is the dirtiest room in your house?

I just finished with my bathroom... UGH living with 3 people of the opposite sex is disgusting. It smelled something awful in there... know what it was?

URINE, from where the boys decided not to pay attention to their business. I had to scrub my floor, toliet, AND the walls, PLUS putting a air freshener thing in there to get the smell out. YUCK YUCK and DOUBLE YUCKKKKKKKK!!!

I feel ya. The bathroom is DEFINITELY the dirtiest room for us. And the one I always dread cleaning the most!

Living with a boy means it is his job to clean the bathroom. I will clean the sink, but my fiance gets to do the toilet and floor.

:lol-sign: Grammy, it's not Rob that is the prollem, it's the boys!

Being 4 and 8 though, I can't say I blame them... at that age, EVERYTHING is interesting.

I have two boys..... 5 and 8. I literally have to quickly wipe the toilet area everyday! If I don't do it everyday, it takes to long to clean and gets too dirty. But I keep a bottle of cleaner with bleach and a few quick sprays and a wipe with a couple paper towels keeps everything looking good. My boys are messy too! And it gets worse if they pee double... so I haven't been allowing that. :D

RRRRRRRRRRROFLMAO!! OMG! I have NEVER heard that one before!! hahahahahaha

Yes, I have FOUR men in this house and the bathroom is ALWAYS the NASTIEST room in the house.

The little boys have bad aim, and the big boys leave hair in the sink from shaving

My first job was as a janitor. The LADIES rooms were always nastier than the men's rooms. I don't know if it's just the whole public restroom thing, but every one of these women seemed to hover and had no aim whatsoever.

I'll agree, though, that boys (and some men) are quite careless. I went through a "directionally challenged" phase about 16 months ago following a surgery, but I always wiped up after myself (my wife appreciated that) :D

Blue.. LMFAO! Someone needs to tell my dog this.. we had not one.. but TWO accidents last night, and they were both right after I took him out. Uggggh.

In my house, the dirtiest parts of the house is wherever my dad spends the most time. Namely his study and near his chair in the bedroom. He spills things - it doesn't get cleaned up b/c there's no way to blame it on my mom or I to get us to do it for him. Dander and hair? Who cares! A little BO on fabrics and pillows? Pre-scented! A lot of BO? Even better! Crumbs from eating and drinking? No problem, the cats/dog will clean them for me! Random things lying underneath chairs/table/bed? I can't crawl on my knees - I'm sure if I complain enough, someone will get them for me, even though it's MY mess (and I crawl on my knees all the time)! Piles and piles of magazines/crap? I use all that stuff, don't mess with it! A little dust (okay, a thick, fuzzy coat)? It give the room a more unique atmosphere! Disgustingly dirty floor? I can't clean it myself... I'll call someone else in to vacuum/scrub/etc even though it's MY mess and if I kept on top of it only a little each week it wouldn't be nearly so nasty!

I would start in on his keyboard, but considering some of the crap I still haven't cleaned off of mine, I really can't say anything. except that I wash my hands several times after EVERY time I touch it for any reason.

Yes, I'm a bit miffed. Bitter. Make that bitter.

But come on.. who wouldn't be? It's GROSS in there. I keep my areas of the house clean, if not neat, and the bathrooms are actually some of the cleanest places - usually - because of how much we clean them.

My hubby is a VERY clean person. He likes it when things are clean & cluster-free. I don't mind the cluster & a little bit of dirt here & there does not bother me, but since I live with the guy & I'd much prefer that he's a clean freak rather than a lazy & dirty freak.. I must compromised!. So, both of us usually take about 5 - 10 minutes each day to go around dusting, rearranging, cleaning things that need to be dusted, put away & cleaned. This way, cleaning is fast & easy & our home is always guest-ready!

After living with him for 6 years, I'm proud to say that i've learned a good habit of cleaning the bathroom at the end of everyday, just before I take the bath. When i clean it everyday, I only need about 5 minutes & everything is as good as new. I must say my bathrooms are NOT the dirtiest room in our house . My garage is - but just because they're the 3Ms play room & they're notorious for bring in anything from a dead bug to dirt to anything just enough to annoy my hubby :D
