I just signed Lucy up for her first agility class ever!

We finished a basic obedience class a couple weeks ago, and she passed with flying colors, so the people said she's more than ready to take an introductory agility course. I'm so so so excited to start this. She's an awesome jumper and a fast learner and really curious, so I think she's going to love it.

I emailed the adoption counselor at the shelter that we got her from in September, and told her we were going to do this. She said that if we submitted pictures, they'd love to feature us in the newsletter as a "shelter success story". My doggy will be famous! And successful!

We started agility this year, and she is loving it! Its good to have a good obedience base on them first too- our instructor says it will help us get to competition quicker

That is so great. I'm so happy for you!!!

I did beginning agility with my boy DaVinci thi past summer we had so much fun. My sister bought me tunnels and a chute and a tetter for christmas. DaVinci is a rescue too. I think it is important that people know that any dog can be successful and be a great companion no matter where you get them from.

Please keep us posted on how you do. Get some pictures too. I would love to see them.
