Would you own your current breed(s) of dog(s) again?

I will never actively seek out a basset, but if the right rescue (read: just like Dais) fell into my lap, I'd be happy.

I will always have Plotts.

To have another English or any other breed of coonhound, it'd have to be a VERY special dog.

FCR -- Yes, if all goes well. I will at least have retrievers again. Love them.
Herderbrain -- Of course.
Terrierman -- Probably not? Webby as an individual is awesome though.

I could possibly see myself with a stafford somewhere in the future.I really love the breed, I'm just not sure if they are the breed I want for my next dog considering I'd really like to avoid DA if possible. Other than that, they are wonderful and Id have one in a heartbeat.

An Abby/chi/mutt? Oh goodness no! There can only be one lol. I'll never own a dog quite like her I think.

Changed my mind. I'm pretty certain that my next dog will be an SBT. I just adore them.

My feelings on having another Abby still stand though.

JRT - yup, even if Milo's the worst JRT in the world. I'd like to try again with a JRT that isn't probably inbred and traumatized.

Wheaten terrier - ermm, probably not. I wouldn't be opposed to one if say, a partner really wanted one, or one just fell into my lap, but I doubt I'd seek one out.

American Eskimo - yes. Even though everyone says my eskie was atypical of the breed, I don't think he was. But then again, although I say "yes", there are a lot of other breeds I'd be looking for first.

Pit Bull - definitely.

Ibizan- Yup. As long as I still had at least one non sighthound in my home.

Border Collie- yes but I may take a little break from BCs. Might try a kelpie next.

Mexidog- ok she isn't a breed, but yes yes and yes. She's nearly perfection. I'm totally biased probably, but even one of the trainers at my work told me she is pretty much the perfect dog too lol.

Yes, yes a thousand times yes! I'm currently planning on adding another in the next year or two. That's not to say I won't ever have other breeds, but I would absolutely get another (and another, and another...) ES.

Yes, I can see many more ESs in my future! My next puppy will be a male ES.

Chihuahua- Yes

Dachshund- Yes

Chihuahua/Dachshund- Yes! If I find another chi/doxie in rescue, I will definitely get one. Chloe is the best dog I have ever had, and it's mostly to due to her being, well, her. So I'll never find another dog with her exact personality, but if I found one who was similar, yes, I would have another for sure!

Sibe- I don't know. Probably. They aren't the best fit for me, but I really do love them. I think I would have one again in the far (10 years+) off future.

Rottweilers: Unequivocally, without a doubt yes. They're my heart breed and I will never not have them.
Golden retrievers: Also a strong yes.

Past dogs-
GSD: Probably not. I like the breed well enough, but maybe just not for me.
Siberian husky: Nope. There again, I like the breed... just for someone else to own.

Standard Poodles - Maybe, I might miss having a Wesley-dog when he/sis moves away. For now 1 is plenty.
Mini Poodles - Definitely not a breed for me.
Labs - Uh-uh, not my type of dogs.

Dobermans - always and forever

Pembroke Welsh Corgis - may get roped into one last corgi, but I hope not. Too loud, too hairy, too argumentative with other dogs. And we'll never have two at a time ever again.

Mexican Street Dogs - probably not, but only because by the time we're ready for another, I'm not sure who I'll know in the area who can supply us with one. Also, Talla is pretty hard to top... she's one of a kind.

Yep, my answer still stands. The only (slight) change is for Corgis. Instead of "one last corgi" it's now "no more corgis, ever." I love Revy, but she'll be our last.

Current lab mix - eh, who knows. Its too general a mix for me to say no never, but labs in general are not my favorite.

Past dogs -

Saints - maybe. They really seemed to have changed so would have to be just the right one.

Husky x Aussie - erm, NO!

Chow x Shepherd - nope

That being said, I would evaluate mixes on individual temperament so who knows.

I think if she would have had a better upbrining she would have been a good dog with the right owner.

I won't say never, but I will not go out of my way to get a Kelpie. I love Gwen, but she is definitely not what I like/want in a dog.

She's really the only dog I've had experience with. Besides Cinamon, the.... sheltie? mix. I probably wouldn't get another Cinamon. Even though she has been very well behaved, she NEVER PLAYS. And I really don't like that. Plus, she's lazy. But I'm not sure if that's the weather + eating habits or what.

I haven't found 'my' breed yet. I kind of doubt I will.

Thing is, those are both pretty drivey breeds, so you'd get tons of that. Staffords are super tolerant with humans, Malinois are... not. So you've got a contrast in personality there, and the potential for some real aggression issues.
Yeah. Not a cross I'd want to deal with.

Yeah I understood why she was the way she was.

She was a opps as far as I know. I think she would have been a great dog if she would have had a good owner from the start. We got her at 2yrs old, it took 2 DAYS before she would let us touch her. She wasnt aggressive with us, but terrified. She walked around the house with her belly o the floor for days. Poor girl. I did some agility with her, just playing around to hopefully bring her out of her shell. Man she would have made a great agility dog.

We rehomed her with a great childless, dog savvy couple.

Yeah, these are two breeds which exude confidence, it's a bummer to hear of one being so terrified but I suspect it was due to the foundations.
