Would you eat steak made from human feces?

Eh I find eating a big ol' clump of bacteria unappetizing in and of itself. Grown in human waste (which, logical or not, I do find grosser than herbivore manure) or otherwise.

Just like I wouldn't eat tapeworm cakes or maggot cakes (or junebug cakes, for you Dekka lol) unless I had a good reason to, I wouldn't eat this stuff either.

If they could make steaks that looked, smelled, had the texture and taste of steak (and was nutritionally the same!) made from junebugs I would eat it

But then I seem to be an extremely logical person. (except when it comes to june bugs touching me... )

I love science...it is great that they are able to do these things. We do have our taboos and hang ups as humans that do not seem to keep up with scientific advances though.

Yea, the whole process has me going "huh?" No thanks. I want my steaks straight from the cow and onto the grill/skillet as quickly as possible. . . I'll skip the color and flavor enhancements along with the poop protein. So no, wouldn't eat it at all.

I agree, that is why I qualified it had to be the same, nutritionally, as actual steak... The poop thing doesn't bother me.

I have been waiting for vat grown meat so I can eat steak cheaply and guilt free lol.

Honestly, I'd be with Dekka on this...IF it were healthy.

But its not.

They say they add food coloring & soy protein (and I'll bet that soy is genetically modified)...which makes it unhealthy. Who the hell else knows what they add to it. prob a ton of MSG too (cause that makes things tasty).

I wouldn't eat this NOT cause its made from poop (although, well, that is def a reason), but for the same reason I don't eat ANY processed food. Its just plain bad for your body.
