I was talking with Allan on my way to work and we were talking about our kids and it turned into whether or not we would be bred if we were in a breeding program :rofl1:

My family is VERY long lived. My grandmother still lives on her own (even with MS) at 91. My great Aunt died (of a hole in her esophagus) at 98 whilst still living on her own with some mall assistance. My other grandmother drank like a fish, smoked like a chimney, and was so wrinkled from sun worshiping in her younger days... she lived to be 86 and didn't die of cancer. Good solid temperaments, lots of higher education (lol like titled dogs...) So I think I would likely be a good candidate for breeding :rofl1:

What about you? Have you ever wondered this?

History of Alzheimer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, strokes... Probably not, lol!

We're smart though, so there's that...

I am purposefully not having kids. My dad died of cancer. His brother had cancer. His sister has MS. My mom has had huge spinal problems. Her mom died of alzheimers. Her dad died of heart problems.

Nope. Even if we are an intelligent bunch. Nope.

we've got a lot of higher education, and are pretty long-lived (80's and up...), and IMO overall we're a pretty good-looking bunch ;) but theres also some history of mental illnesses, alcoholism and serious anxiety/depression... so overall probably not lol

I'm left handed. No one wants those deviant genes in their breeding program :rofl1:

I want to say yes...both my brother have donated semen to this very high brow place and they were highly sought after LOL gross but in the mission for them to be allowed to do so, we all got health checked and discovered what it is to truly be in a "breeding program"

WE ARE...
- Overall Healthy (blood pressure, heart health, BMIs run normal etc..)
- Long lived
- Lots of higher education/PHDs/Medical doctors
- low/few instances of life threatening diseases (I have a great uncle that died when he was quite old from cancer)
- The men run quite a bit taller than women, which is sought after
- Brown (technically speaking we both age better and have lower chance of skin cancer lol) black don't crack y'all :rofl1:
- No cases of down syndrome that I know of (like or not this was one of the biggest questions on the survey these fertility places give you)
- Loving temperaments (albiet a bit loud and overbearing overall)
- Very few allergies/ no life threatening allergies in lines

Downsides...
A) Mental disorders on the mild OCD spectrum are a bit prolific (Anxiety, eating disorders, Mild OCD etc..)
B) Addiction problems in the extended family (some Haitian relatives who drink A LOT, also some drug addiction)
C) I have epilepsy. I'm the only one in my family/extended that does lol but it is what it is
D) I'd say 50/50 need braces

can be pro/con depending
Overall the family is much more "left brained" than "right brained", just an expression but overall, the family tends to lean MUCH MORE towards the sciences/math than they do art although many play instruments we have few true artists.

overall I'd say yes!

Well, I have some good points and bad.

Family history of heart disease and cancer, although those tend to be affecting the male population vs the female. (Stupid.) My immediate family has higher education, it's about 50/50 when it comes to my extended family. My generation, most are college grads. Generation before, not so much. Long lived, I suppose - my great grandparents and grandparents have/are currently in their 80s-90s and are only now experiencing health issues (barring those who passed away from cancer :(). Nice, thick hair tends to run in the family, too. LOL

I personally suffer from mild anxiety, but no allergies. Mild knee and vision problems. PERFECT teeth. Never needed braces/retainer/anything pulled beyond my wisdom teeth, and that was because they were uncomfortable vs an actual serious problem.

So, maybe with the right pairing....LOL Michael's side has a history of mental illness, dyslexia, dental issues, and mild vision problems. Again, varies in level of education...probably more 40/60 with the lowerpercent being the college grads. He personally is dyslexic, has some structural abnormalities (missing a pec muscle entirely, impaired hearing in one ear, and a horrible hip), and had teeth issues as a child. May suffer from mild depression, and has mild allergies. Eyesight is perfect, though!

Hoping our children will have my teeth and non-allergicness, and his eye sight. LOL

No no no.
No no.
No.

Health issues galore, mental illness galore, strong tendencies towards addiction. Nothing particularly impressive physically. Everyone is at least kinda ugly.

Purebred Asian of Chinese lineage checking in. Totally breed worthy based on that alone :p

Actual answer: probably, as my shortcomings are more a result of personality and environment and less because of temperament and genetics. My sister and I have both had rotten luck when it comes to health, though on her side it is not genetic and on my side it shouldn't be, but still might be? My sister and I also both have terrible eyesight but that's never been a problem in our family history, so not sure what's up with that. No one in our family has needed braces.

No issues with mental health, fairly average lifespans, and good height and general build. Mother's side is full of athletes and professors, father's side is a long line of doctors and as a military family. Above standard for Asians as far as height and weight though LOL :D And has freckling, so that's weird, too. In sore need of conditioning. Slow to mature.

If we're just going by phenotype, nope. But genotype? Yeah, give it a shot

Let's just say I've already removed myself from the gene pool. And while there were a variety of reasons that went into this decision, lack of suitability for the human race's breeding program did play a small part.

I definitely would not. Im human aggressive and dont play well with others, on top of being a dwarf with genetic predisposition to addiction and a long history of constant pain. Definitely not brood quality! :rofl1:

Nope! Josh has back issues and cancer that runs in his lines. I've got HD as does a lot of my family. My moms side has a bunch of neck/back issues and kidney and heart disease. Not to mention mental instability.

Just no.

If bred to a long line where being mentally sound has run for a long time. Also they must have good teeth.

But otherwise, I suppose so. Previously I was so adamantly against it....but I was also on some serious hormones and my mental issues were completely unresolved. I was also with my ex-husband.

But medically there is little wrong with me or my family other than mental issues and teeth. Pros and cons....

My family runs short, men are generally not above 5'10", but the women have wide hips and bodies meant for childbearing.

Clear skin. Generally attractive.

Intelligent. Poor historically, but those given the chance prospered.

Redheads. Pale skin. Lot of strong maternal Eastern European lines crossed on Native American.

So, eh.

I would overall say no.

My moms side of the family, most of them have heart problems of some sort (blocked arteries, pacemaker, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrulation, etc). My mom has thyroid issues and will have to take meds for the rest of her life as well as a beta blocker. Also have a lot of anxiety and depression issues on that side of the family. Oh and teeth problems seem to run rampant as well.

My dads side.... I guess a bit healthier? all I know about is my dads back/neck issues and I think his brother has knee problems. Weight problems but not sure how much is genes or not.

No, no,& no.

The good
• No known Cancer
• Most people in my family have a college degree
• Obesity isn't issue.

The bad
• Eye issues are very common. But, nothing too severe.
• Almost everyone has needed Braces.
• Back issues

And The Ugly
• Depression runs rampant, in both my Dad's,& Mom's side. This has lead to some people being hospitalized.
• Other mental illnesses run in my family too. Aspergers , Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar, OCD, & other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.
• My Grandpa went missing(& still is) due to a mental illness
• Diabetes, High & Low blood pressure, & heart disease runs in family.

As for myself? I've been diagnosed with Anxiety, Aspergers, ADHD, & Depression.

Yeah...that would be a resounding no!

Diabetes, heart issues, poor eye sight, anxiety, OCD are just some of the wonderful things I might pass on since all that runs in my lines.

Add to that a sharp temperament that needs an experienced handler...

Plus I have never wanted to breed and produce offspring...
