Since there's an attempted forum revival going on, I figured I do a winter photo update! We've had some good winter weather, decent amount of snow and a few cold snaps for ice skating etc.

Down by "our" river

Little ding dong

Emir feeling frisky!

He's sooo fuzzy!

Everyone needs some couch time after playing in the snow

Christmas pictures!

And I took a couple shots of my friend and her Coolie the other day, they are so sweet <3

It was a beautiful day out on the ice!

All done!

Love these! I really love the one of Yarrow laying on the couch. He always looks so handsome and wild, it's cute to seem him cuddled up. Onyx is gorgeous, as always. She looks like she's a lot of fun.

Plus the one's of Ellie and Tikka cuddling is crazy cute. I love these.

I will say that I'm with Yarrow- never trust the ice! I have a crazy fear of falling in and coming up to the surface and having my head blocked by the ice. Just typing it out gave me chills! I'm a pretty adventurous person- I backpack, kayak, gone mountain climbing but for some reason an icy lake just wigs me out!

Oh man I completely agree with you about the ice. All these places we skate are thankfully really shallow. The open lake doesn't freeze (doesn't get cold enough), but these little pond/slough areas do. They're generally max a couple feet deep, often less. So if you do go through it's just getting your feet wet!

I feel like I know that coolie... Or maybe just his parents. Is he from Avalon?

Great photos too, I always love seeing your work :)

I think I cry a little on the inside when you post pictures because the scenery where you live is just absolutely gorgeous! Maybe I should pack up and move to the area you live in, lol! And the dogs are stunning, I loved seeing Yarrow all snuggled up haha.

Thanks! It's honestly hard to go wrong on those days when the lighting is just right and everything is so beautiful :)

Love it all, as usual.
Thaaanks :)

Haha, yes, just do it! I sure love it here, although it's very removed from everything and rather hard to make a living....but the scenery and lifestyle makes it all worth it, that's for sure :)

I love Tikka so much! I think because she reminds me of Fable. Just the way she sits funny while leaned up against stuff with that solemn look on her face reminds me so much of Fabes. She's too darn cute.

And of course all of your photos and your dogs are incredibly gorgeous. I especially like that last one- looks like everyone involved was having a blast!

Aww, yeah! I think Tikka might be part ACD...and Jack Russel and something else a bit...mellower haha. She's super low energy/drive.

Thanks!!

All are awesome clicks !!!! i like it.
Thank you :)

Gorgeous! What a beautiful place to live. I love the pictures of the snow shoveling. And omg the cuddles <3
I know, so so lucky to live here! The snow shoveling day was such a lovely one, Onyx was going nuts for that, haha.

Tikka and Ellie are ridiculous cute and they cuddle a lot...

I love Onyx's stay face. "I am staying, do you see me staying?"
Haha, so true! She looks like she is concentrating SO hard and her ears do silly things a lot of the time.

Lovely shots as always. But I really love this one:
Thank you! That one was a lucky shot with the lighting and a bit of snow falling :)

Beautiful! Your dogs and the scenery are just fantastic. I always love seeing them here. :)
Thanks so much!
