Some of you may or may not know that yesterday was my birthday :D (we don't have to talk about age here!)

For my birthday, Kevin took the day off work :)eek: big wow) and took me to one of my favorite places............BLUE CHIP CASINO!!! So while we can't retire from work, I WON!!! A few hundred bucks, and it was FUN!!

With my ill gotten gains, we stopped and got a Wii + the Wii Fit plus to go with it :D I stayed up until 11pm playing with the Fit and it is so fun!! I love the Advanced Step Aerobics and the Hula Hoop..........I love all the games so far, but those two are my favorite!!

I got up this morning and did aerobics for 30 minutes! :yikes: I didn't even realize the time and I HATE exercising! hhahahaha WOOT! I am hoping this will decrease the size of my fanny! LMAO!!

So my question is, what is your favorite game for the Balance board? I am already on the look out for MORE!!

Neat. My parents are looking at a Fit too but weren't sure about it. I already have a Wii so it's the efficacy of the game that'd holding them back.

Well not to sure about about Wii Fit but I do know that me, my family and my friends family go all into the Sonic/mario Olympics game and even though it wasn't really supposed to be able exercise we really worked up a sweat!:D

I'd say the result are going to be like any other exercise equipment you buy.......if you don't use it, it won't work, LOL

Honestly, I've tried a few of the yoga and stretching exercises on it today, not impressed. But again, you must keep in mind that I HATE exercising for the sake of exercising. I walk on my treadmill with my mp3, but it is so boring......mind numbingly boring, and I doubt those cool little "screens" that make it look like walking in the woods or whatever would help that too much. So the other "exercises" disguised as games really do it for me! I love the competition of beating my last score, or beating my kids' records!

The Fit plus comes with a variety of "games" like snowboading, skateboarding, Segway riding, Rhythm and step games, all sorts of balance games.........even tight rope walking! LOL, and you really don't realize what muscles you are working until LATER

We really haven't played much of the regular controller games for Wii........even the kids were liking the Fit and balance board games best!

I fell in love with the Raving Rabbid games. They look really stupid at first but they are a serious work out. Some of the mini games are a little questionable (there's one where you see who can produce the largest lump on a Rabbid's head using a hammer) but most of them are just hilarious and they really are a work out. My parents loved it and I think they actually still have it. Lol.

I have the regular Wii Fit game and I love it! Haven't pulled it out for a while... I probably should. I want to get Fit Plus just because you can make your own workout plans or something now, I heard? I forgot to ask for it for Christmas though... =P

I love Wii Fit, but just got Wii Active. It is also great and continuous. Wii Outdoors is great too, not advertised as a fitness game, but sweating just as bad at the end of play time.

Beanie, I haven't gotten into all the "making your own routines" stuff yet, I did look in that section though.

It looks as though you pick from all the exercises they have and put them into a routine you prefer, it saves them in one place for you to visit and use. Again, haven't tried it out but it looks like a cool feature :) I don't think I would buy a whole new Wii Fit just for that though, LOL

I am finishing my coffee and then I am going to play.......erm, work out! :p

I really want to get the Wii plus, sounds like a lot of fun! We play Outdoor Adventure a lot too and you can really work up a sweat if you want too!

I heard good reviews about this game so I went out and bought it and for some reason I really just cannot get into it. I tried playing it a couple times and really didn't understand what was going on. Maybe I'll have to put it back in this weekend and see if I can figure it out

I've found that you (general you) really need to play with a group of people. It's a lot more fun that way. If you just play by yourself it's kind of blah. But still fun to break people's records. :D

We just rented the Raving Rabbid TV play (or something like that) and are going to try it in about 10 minutes or so!

I hope it's fun............but most of all, I hope I KICK THE KIDS' (and Kevin's) BUTT!! WOOOT!

we have the first wii-fit game and my favorite is the boxing...that one gets the sweat realy going.
i like the advanced step to and use the free step while watching tv when i cant get outside.
the hulahoop one makes my back hurt :( but i enjoy the yoga!

were probably going to get the next wii-fit game for xmas now that the balnace board is fixed.

as a side note, DO NOT use those plug in rechargable batery packs sold for the balance board.
(im not talking typical rechargable batteries, just those rechargable packs) as they are NOT aproved for the wii fit (despite often being sold with the board as a package deal...)
these battery packs are causing issues with the balance board.
after a few used they result in the game thinking your ON the board when your not, nintendo thinks they mess up the internal computer and throw off the gyro.

its frustrating but just ues GOOD batteries or good lithium ion rechargables.
