Who's watching the Presidential address on the economy?

I know its important, but its boring and I'm tired of listening to it now. I want to watch David Blaine!! I wonder how much longer its going to be on.
(yes I know I probably sound like a little kid in this post, but I never did understand anything about economics or politics).

ETA: yay its over! Do you think there was any truth in what he said, or do you think it was just stuff to pacify the American people?

I didn't watch last night as I wasn't at home but I do know all about what is going on right now and my advice is this: stock up on canned goods and hone your gun skills.

My husband came to see me all pissed off after the first five minutes, when apparently Bush blamed the people who took the mortgages for the problems we have now. Riiiiiight. I think he turned the TV off after that.

As soon as I see the "party political broadcast" I dive for the remote and change the channel.

I've hardly paid one cent to the elections this year. I know it's important to vote and important to pay attention... but I can't wrap my head around it and I fall asleep within 5 minutes when anything about the election is on the tv.
