Who would care for your dogs if you were to pass away? My family would take both my dogs. In the event my family couldn't care for them, a few of my friends love Kenya and Pumpkin. Many dogs end up at shelters because of the their owner's passing.

We haven't officially talked to them about it, but Matt's dad and step-mom are the best candidates. She loves being up there with them and loves their dogs, and they're the best "dog family".

If both of us were gone, my mom would take Ozzy and Enzo, Knox would either go to my friend, or back to his breeder. If my mom couldn't take Ozzy and Enzo, my dad would take Ozzy and a different friend would take Enzo. If both parents couldn't, then Ozzy would go to my sister.

I've talked with my Mom about this. Tipper would probably go back to rescue because she's by far the most adaptable of my bunch, they'd keep Murphy as they've been trying to steal him for years, and Mu would hopefully also stay with them. I've told her that under NO circumstances are any of my dogs to go to my siblings and if they need help I know my rescue would help them out with placement.

This is something that REALLY worries me. I have 4 dogs that would need placed and I honestly don't trust my parents to do it. I think they would try but without me to do all the work my parents would be extremely overwhelmed and I don't think it would be fair on the dogs.

I think my parents would probably keep Taz. A friend would probably love to take Fudge (and she would be the best choice for him as he adores her and she's a fairly active person who also trains a lot.). Scamp I'm not sure about. My parents could keep him but no one apart from me is super attached to him. My sister would probably want to keep him but I'd prefer for him to be anywhere but near her. Aura would have to go to rescue or be rehomed privately. My dad and sister hate her because she's a noisy, active little witch. My mum likes her but expects her to lie still most of the day which isn't happening.

My parents would take Gavroche in a heartbeat. They'd probably take Logan, too, but his breeder would also probably take him back in an instant (and he is co-owned by his breeder).

Well if it was just me, then Ryan would take care of him to the best of his abilities, I'm sure.

If we were both to pass away he'd be euthed.

I know my dad would. He would be my first choice. Jackson loves it over at his house, he gets to run around the fenced in yard, swim in the pool, be around his two dogs and my little brother, etc. I'm pretty sure my dad would let him get fat though and not get him enough exercise, but I know he'd be happy and well taken care of (i.e. taken to the vet when needed, etc).

I would never choose to let him stay where we live now (with my mom and stepdad). They are NOT dog people, and would probably forget that he even existed. They do love him and all, but just not the greatest dog owners.

If for some unknown reason my dad did not work, which I don't see why it wouldn't, I do have a few other family members who I know would take good care of him. But honestly? I think he would be so lost without me. My dad says whenever I am gone for a few days, if I go away, he's just not the same and he's constantly looking for me. I'm pretty sure he'd be a wreck. We're very attached.

My mom would. And if for whatever reason that wasn't possible (ie: mom was also gone), the Dobes would go back to their breeder and she would place them in good homes. And Dance, being co-owned, would probably also have to go to her breeder... though I'd much rather that not happen unless it was short term and her breeder could find her a good home, but I'd still rather have her go to somebody I know than a stranger. So in the event that something happens to me, hopefully my mom will still be around so she could have them all since they are just as much hers as they are mine. And any future dog of mine would also either go to her or their breeder if the dog was too much for mom (which is possible considering the breeds I want and what my mom prefers in a dog). To be honest, there is nobody else in my family that I would want to take my dogs. The next best solution would probably be for them to go to a chazzer/a dog board person who knows dogs. Most of the rest of my family is not really doggy enough for me to trust that they'd take care of them they way I'd prefer. I don't even let family dog sit them, lol. Kinda overprotective that way I guess.

I think we would have a major fight on our hands if something happened to me. My girlfriend would want him and he would be fine there as she has 2 dogs he just loves to play with and he loves her. My parents would also want him and he loves them and they spoil him way too much.
I just hope that nothing ever happens to me because he loves everybody, but he loves me the most and he would miss me terribly.

He'd stay with my parents/one of my parents when they sell the house. Not that that is ideal lol but it would work.

Rocky and Baxter would stay with my parents and sisters (since both my sisters still live at home). If my sisters were living on their own, my middle sister would take Baxter and Rocky would stay with my parents.

If something happened to my whole immediate family, my aunt and uncle in New Jersey would take both of them. I had the same deal with them regarding their dogs when they had them, if anything happened to both of them I would get their dogs.

Provided I was still with the boyfriend, I'd expect him to care for Daisy, and I'm sure he would - everyone loves Daisy ;)

In a perfect word, he'd hold onto Liz as well, as she's getting older. If that wasn't something he was willing to do, a breeder friend of mine owns & loves sister & I'm sure would be happy to have her.

Rage would go back to her breeder & my good friend.

Sam is a family dog, though I do most of his care stuff. If I were to die than they would just take over what I do. I would hope that if Sam was my dog that they would keep him too.

Jack is to be euth'd and placed in my casket curled up at my feet.

Just kidding ;) That's what I told my mom but she would never do it. My parents would happily keep him.
