Who do your pets belong to?

Who do all the pets in your household belong to? Are they all yours? Or do some belong to other members?

I'll start!

Toby (cat), Romeo (horse), and Stevie Wonder (betta) all belong to me. Stevie is entirely my responsibility, and I'm the only one who can ride Romeo, and the fact that he was bought to be my specific horse. Toby came from my best friend, and he just kind of took to me. When I move out, he'll probably come with me.

Chloe (cat) and Juliet (horse) belong to my mom. My mom bought Juliet for her own personal riding horse after taking lessons, and like Toby took to me, Chloe took to her. That cat hates everyone else lol

The other two cats (JJ and Bella) and both the dogs are "family pets." As in, they love everyone equally, and don't tend to hang around one person like the other two cats do. Everyone feeds and walks the dogs, and even though I love them, neither of them are "mine," and neither of them will be coming with me when I move out.

Teagan is owned my Tyler and I.

Casey the Scottish terrier is owned by my parents. He's my mothers dog, but you could call him the family dog, but he loves my mother the best.

Emme Lou is a family dog as well so she is owned by my parents as well.

Trent is 100% mine and his behavior reflects that.

Bree is 90% mine, because she is a cat and would be appalled to find that she could belong to a lowly human. She does what she wants.

The red-eared sliders are mine and my sister's.

Jack is my dog, and when I eventually find a place to live he'll live with me. I contribute towards food and fund everything else in his life.

My brother pays for all of Micki's vet bills because they're extensive and he has the money to, but the three (Micki, Mini and Kyra) are "family" pets that my parents pay for. Mini loves my dad best, and Kyra loves my mom.

All of our pets are co-owned by Matt and I, pretty much. We split vet bills on the smaller animals, but June Bug is "his" and Finnegan is "mine" in the sense that I pay for all of Finn's food, toys, chews, vet bills etc. and he covers all of June Bug's. He's not a dog person and I'm not a cat person, LOL. But we both like the other pet just fine, and if stuff comes up we'd take the other one to a vet, of course.

Enzo is definitely my dog, and Ozzy is definitely Stevens. I actually got Oz to be MINE, but he ended up being Steven's dog through and through. He goes to bed when Steven does, he follows Steven around, ect

Enzo is definitely my dog. She loves Steven too, but there's no denying that she's mine 100%

The horses are mine, though while I am a student Mark is paying all the bills. Dekka, and Bounce are 'mine' Kaiden is the family/farm dog. Dash is Mark's, Sport is Darien's and Solo is still looking for his forever home.

Juno was intended to be the family dog. But I am the one that feeds, walks, plays, trains, and she is bonded to me, so essentially she is mine. But I don't pay for the essentials so I can't claim her completely.

Lucy chose my mom. But she was supposed to be mine, lol.

Jinx (cat) belongs to the family.

Poker (rat) is 100% mine.

Financially everyone is mine, despite the fact we've had every single one of them since baby-hood. Cats are 14.5, Bailey is 11.5, Buzz is 13 and I'm 24... you do that math...

Elsie is mine. I'm her person, she's my dog--I pay for her stuff. My boyfriend feeds her most of the time, though, because he's my 50's-house-boyfriend. ;] His dog, Zobby, is his, and he takes care of Zobby's stuff.

The fish are mine. I pay for their stuff, although my boyfriend does help me with water changes. He carries the bucket.

Although Mushroom believes in his heart that he belongs to my mother.

All are 100% mine. I take care of them, pay for all bills, etc. Eric likes to call Piper "his", but in reality, if anything were to happen between us, she's mine, so are the others.

The birds, Sassy, and Jack are all 100% mine. I was the one that got them in the first place, and I take care of them and pay for all their stuff. I don't have any plans to move out in the near future, but (hypothetically) if I were to move out tomorrow, they would all come with me.

Missy is my mom's dog, in every sense. My mom walks her, takes her to the vet, pays for the majority of her food/treats/etc. In return, Missy won't give me the time of day.

Eve is mine. 100%, no matter what, mine.

Dash and Dakota are my mom's and my dad's, respectively. They are both quite friendly, but it's apparent who their people are. I still care about Dash and Dakota, but they don't live with me and I am more of the "fun cousin" that comes to visit every now and then, rather than the boss lady.

Our 4 cats are shared by me and my mom, though I can't really deny that the 3 younger ones (Leia, Nyx and Nefarian) like her WAY more than me. Even though I bottle fed them and had them live in my apartment for the first 6 months of their lives. Brats. RJ, the old orange cat, has been special to me since I was 8 years old, and I am his special person, but he loves my mom too. All of the cats want to be friends with my dad, because they know he dislikes cats.

Morgan, the Kitty Boy Brothers, and the sugar gliders are ours, Jon's and mine together. The argument could be made that Teller (our oldest sugar glider) is Jon's, but we do share responsibilities so they are all "family" pets.

The snakes, though, are mine. I definitely have support from Jon, but they really are my completely my own investment and my own projects. All decisions regarding the snakes are 100% mine to make.

Izzie is mine. I don't buy her food (but technically they use my discount) but that's because it's easier to just buy a bunch since all three eat the same thing anyways. However mum tries to insist that Izzie is hers and all Izzies training is because of her, but that's just a lie... Izzie is mine through and through.

Ruby and Chai belong to mum and her husband. I don't really like them much, they're there and they're alright dogs but they don't compare to Izzie at all.
