This is the hardest dog to name! She is a tomboy so super girly names do not fit AT ALL.

I really REALLY like the name Rue, but it sounds so much like "you." I still haven't ruled it out, I really like it.

I now have a massive list of names that I love, but do not fit her. lol. I am open to more suggestions too.

Halp?!

Tori means bird! It's also the name of a super badass 5th degree blackbelt who did the motion capture for the final fantasy movie... She's an amazing person.

I like Rue best. I like the name Nya better than Tori but I don't think it fits her. Tori does go with Lacey pretty well.

I wanted my best friend to name her dog Prue. She named her Maddy instead :(

Rue.
and other lowercase things
I also like Tori but it does seems a little too feminine.

I really like Rue too, I might just user it for a while and see if we have any problems with it sounding like "you" lol

I really doubt you'd have any problems with it sounding like "you". It's not like "you" is a command you give your dogs all the time, and they probably won't be too interested in you saying it in passing conversation to other people.

People name their dogs Bo all the time. I think that would be more of a problem with "no" than "Rue" and "you"

Try Rue on and see how it works! If you don't like it try Tori! I tried so many names on Payton LOL. It's a miracle he knows his name.

You can use it! I'm not greedy with names, lol.
But if Rue doesn't work out, I might name her Tori if you don't mind sharing. ;)

Milo, that is why I decided against Nola/Nora. I don't want a "No" sounding name. And they seem too girly for her. lol.

Thanks for helping guys! :)

Nya sounds like Nia? I always though it was Nia, just like Mia but with a "n." Oops!

I think her name might be Dora, or Nora. I like Dora best but I HATE Dora the Explorer and if people ask me if that's what she is named after, I will DIE. It's sad that I had all of these really cool names picked out and very few fit her.

Right now Lacey & puppy are playing tug-o-war over a de-stuffed teddy bear. They do this several times a day. Puppy still makes wolverine noises when playing, but Lacey has learned that even though it sounds like "angry" noises that it's really play lol. My mom thought the puppy was killing Lacey or one of the cats one day, that is how horrible she sounds playing hahaha. I told her the puppy was playing and got this look: o_O

Their second favorite game is bitey face, laying down next to each other, of course. :)

I like Rue
But I also like Toni for an androgynous tomboy name.
Marika and Mariska might suit her, but you may not want to go 3 syllables.

I 100% support Nya!

And on the pronunciation chat, I pronounced it like Mya (the singer... for a specific example), sounds like N-eye-ah. Not Mia, like M-ee-ah. (I don't break down pronunciation properly, hopefully that's clear enough).

^ That's how I say it too lol.

Hmmmmm, I may never pick a name haha! I will put Rue back in the hat, it's SUCH a cool name! I even like spelling it Roo. :) Roo-Roo!

Alicia, those are cute! I dunno about 3 syllables though, I shorten Lacey to Lace 90% of the time lol! ;)
