In five years I'll be 32 (I'm always surprised by how many chazzers are the same age as me).

I want:
My marriage to still be fantastic (that'll be nine years, wooooow).
My dogs to be healthy, happy, and hopefully titled in either agility or rally.
Falon to be happy and healthy and awesome.
To still be in a career that challenges me and helps provide for our family.

Tipper will be 10 and Mu will be 9. Murphy WILL be 15. I've informed him that he needs to live forever.

In 5 years I will be...28! Holy old!

I want to...
-BE DEBT FREE!
-Own a home (hopefully half a double, with a SpringerLover in the other half)
-Be married to that guy I'm dating :p (which is more about getting to the courthouse to finalize, and less about the decision, which has already been made)
-Be at least back in school, if not graduated.
-Be tearing it up at agility and hiking our butts off with the Siri.
-Have a happy Frodo <3
-Be researching breeders for next puppy (in 5 years, I would be 2 years from ideal time frame to bring puppy home)

I'll be almost 27. How. :yikes:

I'd like to still be at my current job, or maybe more confident with myself to be able to move on to bigger and better. House?? Or at least something that is "mine" and where I can do what I want? :p Relationship??

The thing that is striking me the most when I think about this is JUNO WILL BE OLD.

In 5 years, I'll be 31.

Most likely will be starting a family of the human variety and not just the furry variety.

We will have bought a new house by then, on some decent acreage and out of the city.

I'm hoping I'm training full time by then, or at least facility manager at the school I teach at now.

I will have finished vet tech school and hopefully not using that degree. LOL

My husband will still be working where he is now, hopefully he still loves it as much as he does.

I think a lot about the next 5 years. There are some major changes coming up and I'm getting anxious about them (in good ways and bad). It's so weird that 5 years can seem like such a short amount of time and such a long amount of time at the same time.

You're not the only one! Seems like so much will change in the next 5 years and it's both scary and exciting!

In 5 years I will be 26 (almost 27.)

I would like to be engaged.

I really, really want to have a house. But I'd be willing to give that one an extra year or two out, just depending on how things work out.

I want to be at a healthy weight. That's 50-60 lbs down from where I am now. I think five years is more than enough time to get that done, as long as I actually, you know, work at it!

I'd like both of my dogs to be competing in agility, with titles on both. The competing depends on Rowan's physical condition too, since he'll be almost 12 then. OMG... he'll be almost 12!

I want a third dog.

Hopefully I'll have figured out my career path, or more accurately how to pursue it, and be on my way to becoming successful!

In five years I'll be 29.

Hopefully I'll pass vet school (2 more years to go!), but I'm not even sure what I want to do with that degree as there are so many options and I seem to change my mind every semester (first I wanted to do zoo medicine, then emergency & critical care, then just general practice, then I wanted to be a veterinary behaviourist, then I was interested in sports medicine... and so on). I'm not even sure what state I want to practice in, I've narrowed it down to HI, CA, or CO. OR seems nice, too.

I probably won't own my own place yet as I'm sure I'll be up to my eyeballs in debt for the next 10+ years.

I'm not sure if I want kids, sometimes I'll see really cute, well-behaved smart ones and I think to myself, "Now they don't seem too bad! Maybe I'll want one of my own," but then someone shows me the Tumblr "Reasons my son is crying" and while it's hilarious, it's also terrifying. I can handle a barky dog, but a crying kid? DO NOT WANT

Someday I'd like to own acreage, maybe even have some large animals :yikes: I did aquaponics research in undergrad, that was fun, I'd like to build my own aquaponics system someday and grow my own food.

I hope that I'll learn to be good enough at training so that Lugia and future puppy will be wizards at lure coursing, agility, disc, and herding

*Within the space of the next five years, at least once, be truly thankful and happy that I am alive with a positive attitude towards life. I would like to feel it a joy to be alive rather than a hideous chore. Just once.

*With a property of my own as well as recovering the one that was just lost (temporarily).

*Be less cynical/misanthropic.

*Have some sort of meaningful, fulfilling relationship again.

*Be alive in better conditions or dead if they don't improve by then.

Blunt - yet really all that's on my mind.

Owning my own home. With a three car garage. Don't care much about the house as long as its multi-level and sunny.

Middie being there. He'll be old then. :(

Having a second Mazdaspeed, preferably picking up one someone else has dumped some money into modifying for me. :D

Maybe a 4Runner too. Or a WRX. Something I can dump the dog in and not worry.

Liking my job? That would rock.

I've said it before and I'll say it once more: medication. Life sucks right now, and it'll take a while to get better, but going to a good doctor who can actually help you will make all the difference.

I will be 31 eeek!

- Right now I mainly just want to be settled into a career and making a comfortable wage with hours that allow me to enjoy my hobbies.

-OUT OF THIS CITY and back into the country hopefully owning my own little place with enough land for a good garden and some chickens (I would love a horse but that is more a 10 year plan idea)

- Find a sport that clicks with Radar and be competitive in it. Have my smooth collie,or the right aussie or gsd if i go the adoption route again or can't find a collie with the drive I want. There are so many things I want to try, dock diving, tracking, barn hunt, and I hope to have a dog that is down for lots of adventures.

- I want to have hiked all over Canada and a good chunk of the US, and be living a healthy active life with my dogs.

I am so thrilled that I have seemingly moved beyond they scared, nervous, spinning in circles phase of my early 20's when I didn't know what I wanted and wasn't happy with what I had. At 27, I am quite content.
I cannot wait for this! Right now I seem to be in awkward life phase number 2 (the first being middle school when I wasn't quite a kid and wasn't quite a teen/young adult)... this time being when I'm not quite an independent adult, but moving out of the stage where I want to be dependent on my parents - with no clue as to where I'll be or what I want to do in the coming years!

I feel you! It sucks!!! I hated the transition from college to "real life". I am much happier at 27 than I was at 22 (which sounds horrible, since I got MARRIED at 22...but really, I'm much more comfortable in my own skin now :))

Ill be thirty in September so I feel old thinking about it.

I want all I have now but I want to finally have a place to put it all! Technically been house hunting for five years and nothing works out!

Not that far from done with my bachelors so I may work on my masters at some point in the next five years.

I'd like to be able to work a little less and have kids but we will see.

wow, I can't believe how young some of you are! :yikes: I feel so old :p

I'm 24 now so i'll be 29 in 5 years.

- I'd like to be living in a house, perferably one I own, but if not that's ok too ^_^

- I'd like to have Talon titled in agility and maybe in a few doggy sports.

- I'll have finished by BS in mechanical engineering, so I hope I have a job by then!! I don't care if it's the perfect job, as long as I have a job to start my career in my field I'd be pleased :D

- I don't care if I am married or not, but I want to keep my great relationship with my BF either way.

-I want Art to still be going strong, acting like he's a 2 year old (he'll be 9-10, so not that old :))

-I'd like to be out of debt, or at least be working to be out of debt.

-mainly, be financially stable and having fun ^_^

I've spent way too many years being confused and lost. I finally started getting my stuff together a couple of years ago and now feel like I'm on track. I am so glad I'm done with years 18-22, not a fun time!

A bunch of youngins here lol

In five years I will be almost 37, hubby will be 44

The only thing I am hoping for is to be in our forever country home and maybe adopt a child :)

But if neither of those happen I will still be happy. Our life, marriage, jobs, etc right now is incredible.

IMO, life begins at 30
