I do it at home, at work (vet clinic, but our tub sucks), or at the doggie wash. The dog wash costs $5 and less than 10 minutes to do Gavroche. When I did one of my parents' GSDs last week, though, it was $15 and almost half an hour.

My friend goes to Petco. They charge $15 and you get to use their shampoo & towels.

Bath tub here, too. For me, the hardest part is getting the tub ready, which is just taking the folding drying wrack out. In the summer, I do it out in the driveway with the hose.

I bath him in the tub and use this
Rinse ACE Shower Hose Kit - Grooming - Dog - PetSmart

I highly recommend it. I attached easily, I’ve never had a problem with leaking or the shower head “blasting off†and it makes his baths SO much faster, easier and I feel more confident that I get 110% of the soap out.
Plus, after his bath I have a handy hose to clean the tub out with. :)

Both our tubs have hand held shower heads, too. Love 'em! The only reason my husband bought one for downstairs was to make it easier for me to bath Caleb. When Mick was alive I used one of thos adapters that go on the tub spout. What a PITA! In order to get enough waterpressure to do work the dang thing was blowing off the spout.

Kinda depends on what the end result needs to be. If I'm working at a kennel, I'll sometimes take them there and bathe them. If I need them to really look good and am not working someplace with grooming, I'll find a self service place. Otherwise, if they need shampoo, I'll put them in the tub. If they just need to have some rinsing off and it's nice enough outside, I hose them.

Luckily for them it's rarely ever 'cold' around these parts lol. If it get's too chilly for comfort I suck it up and use the tub...outside is just a heck of a lot easier with a giant breed.
