IDK, it depends on a lot, and will hopefully be a long way from now.

It will likely be a lab or whippet, but a rescue greyhound, a Mexidog, or just a random mutt that needs a home are definitely not out of the question.

A rescue herding mix probably. My heart is set on another Border Collie but I am not opposed to anything mixed with it if I like the dog... or anything really if the dog is a good fit. I'll certainly be actively seeking out a BC but if the dog for my family comes in Pit Bull, Lab or any other kind of clothing I'll gladly put aside my breed preference for the love of the specific dog.

A Dutch shepherd. Or possibly another mal. Won't be for a long time yet though - probably when Riley starts slowing down and we get a bigger house.

Collie, collie, collie, collie!!! (You all must be sick of hearing that by now:p)I desperately want another collie, preferably a smoothie and definitely a male. I have a preference for black tri's but I would certainly not turn down any other color. It will likely be another 2 years until I can bring one home and the wait is killing me!

If for some reason if I am not able to get another big dog (collie) in the next couple of years (depends on if I am renting and where and weight restrictions) I could see myself with another little terrier (rat terrier maybe), cocker spaniel or mini poodle if I stumbled across the right one in a shelter or rescue. Also have serious love for older golden retrievers (is their anything sweeter than a grey faced old golden?) and I see many up for adoption that I would love to scoop up! Or a field golden puppy, but that either way that will definitely be after the collie!

Well, my next dog will most likely be my grandmother's whippet boy, Locke.

And I'm absolutely happy to have him, if the need arises.

My next, next dog will not be until after Miss Abby... which will be no less than 15 years away, so I keep telling her. :)

I have no idea what breed but I have some ideas.

Possibly another small dog (love the littlies!) - a toy poodle or papillon.

Possibly a gundog - I still have to learn more about them, but a Vizsla, Brittany, or field ESS appeals.

I still have a love for SBTs... but they are an unlikely choice because I don't want to deal with DA again (Abby is my problem child - but she is a Chi, not an SBT). But, they do call me so... I have to decide once and for all if I can live with it. I'm sure I could but it wouldn't be ideal, that's all.

Other random breeds that interest me - Standard Poodle, Schipperke

But I'm thinking above all else that I may be getting a young adult rescue when the time comes for my next dog.

I just want a dog that I can have a bit of fun with and dabble in training - agility and obedience. I'm still learning myself. I train with my current dogs but don't compete. Edit - oh and I want a jogging partner!

Who knows, I may even end up with another Whippet!!

In 2015, when Lark and Hawkeye have their first breeding, I will have my next Aussie (hopefully, if mother nature cooperates).

No more dogs for a long time, and when the time comes, I really have no idea what I want. It'll depend on how old the dogs all are at that age, how well they're doing, etc. But the breeds as of right now (and it's just a jokingly throwing ideas around list) are another working line GSD, a working line BC, or a working line Malinois.

Next summer I'm hoping to add a wirehaired shelter mutt to the family, but I'll also be on the look out for standard/mini poodle rescues or a retired standard schnauzer girl.

I don't know what I'm going to end up getting. Molly seems to be fading, but King is ok for 13.5 and counting. I don't know what he's going to do when she goes, they have only been apart for like 3 or 4 days in their entire lives. I would like a Dobe, but so many of them have major issues, like a friend of mine who has a dog that he adopted from a Dobe rescue place a year and a half ago, and now has developed major heart issues and he probably won't last much more than a year. This will be the second Dobe they have had that will die before 7 years old. I had to turn down a Ridgeback mix recently. King and Molly both seemed to like him, but he's only 2 years old and over 100 pounds and was just too rough with them to even attempt it. I would imagine one will be a Lab mix of some type, and maybe a RR for the other. Probably not a purebred either, my mutts have been much healthier.

Ohmyohmyohmy....

Since Katalin is just so, well, damned large - I sort of miss having a smaller dog. So I might go for a pomeranian/american eskimo type - compact but not too small either.

Another Kuvasz would be great - a boy of course, although I would be willing to venture into great pyrenees too - they seem similar yet totally different from Kuvasz. A black German Shepherd, Boerboel, Eurasier, English Bull Terrier, or Groenendael are all very strong contenders too. My next dog isn't that far or close away though - probably in another year or so. Very tempted to go for another bigger dog AND a bull terrier/smaller dog too. But I don't know I can handle three dogs and also my dad has said if the number of dogs in the house exceeds two at a time he's building a people house XD

Another English Shepherd for sure - 200%. Definitely a male this time, and I have my heart set on shaded sable although I'll take any color if it's like Quinn.

Hopefully happening in the not too distant future depending on breeding plans (hoping 2013 or 2014). I am so excited for a litter that is planned for this fall, although I really want a spring/summer puppy and this year is a little too soon for me.

I have the worst puppy fever... I can't wait to have another one of these. I actually bought a collar for Rooster (future puppy is already named) today.

I was getting a GSD puppy this fall... but getting pregnant has pushed back my puppy plans (combined with apprentice grooming - I desperately want a coated dog now!) :/ I definitely want to raise a puppy with a toddler, though! As painful as that sounds I want a very kid-friendly dog. At this point it's going to be one of these two.

Dog 3 won't be for atleast another 3 years. I want Quinn to be mature and I want to be competing with her and happy with her training, I want to learn as much as I can about what I'm interested in training with her in that time. That said, In about a year I want to start contacting breeders as I would like a male next, I want to keep him entire and I wouldn't mind a dog to look into breeding later on. I want to be ready to take on and harness the potential in the right dog.

So the question that is going to bug me for the next three years... BC or Kelpie. I'm likely leaning towards a BC but who knows. I adore Kelpies.

I have probably 2 Kelpie breeders I want to contact and 3 BC breeders. (One all ISDS working lines, 1 sport/working combo breeder and one mainly working, part performance breeder in NZ)
