So what magazines do you subscribe to or just buy occassionaly at the store?

Right now I am all about "Parenting" We subscribe to that one... and with that comes Baby Talk.

I recently got a free trial of a new parenting magazine called "Cookie" but I don't recommend it at all. I will not be subscribing to it. It's more Chez whitey than my tastes. Like it had a dress in there for moms that was $3,360 and a dress for baby that was $300... come ON what parent buys clothes like that? it's mostly about "think outside the box" designs and ideas and clothes and furniture... I'm an inside the box kinda girl I guess lol.

Anyway... Parenting magazine I ABSOLUTELY love. I love their ideas for fun games and tips and toys and books and stories sent in by other parents. it's a REAL parents magazine. and sometimes I get American Baby... but they offer that one free at Babies R Us.

I used to subscribe to the "bible"... Cosmo lol. but not anymore.

and when I was pregnant i read "Fit Pregnancy"

And I used to subscribe to Dog Fancy but I don't anymore... don't have time to read it with all my other mags lol

I used to get Dog Fancy but I just... never renewed my subscription when it ended, lol.

Now, I pretty much exclusively read Alternative Press; don't subscribe to it though, I only buy it if it's featuring bands I like.

I get Seventeen and Glamour, sometimes i buy Cosmo, or Elle. All the real girly ones, lol. I got DogFancy for years and years, but after a while it was all the same stuff. My grandma always buys entertainment mags and i love those crossword puzzles. I also read Parenting magazine A LOT. whenever i'm in a waiting room, basically. My mom gets interior design mags i like, too.

Every once in a while I will buy Cosmo...there's some good articles in there every now and then. I actually have a subscription to Game Informer. I get a ton of catalogs though, King Wholesale, Softball Sales, Line Drive, Sports Diamond (if you can't tell I'm a huge sports gear junkie).

Oh you're going to make me do math now? LOL...quarter is a fourth of something, in this case...12 months...12 divided into 4 would be 3...so every 3months.

Okay my brain is smoking and hurts now HAHA!

Brio. Dog Fancy and Dog World (though I stopped this year, but have a million issues still). Uhm, I've picked up a Dog Sports, it's a Canadian mag...definitely the better magazine compared to Dog World.

I havent subscribed to any mags in a LOOONG time.

When I was like 12, the girl scouts were doing a fundraiser and I ordered American GIRL magazine all about the dolls, books, etc.... well instead i got TWO years of American BABY and many many calls did nothing about it.

What was I to do with American Baby at 12 years old?!

My Nanny got me Lady's Home Journal which I just got my first one. I get free Rangefinder and Studio Photography magazines in the mail.

Then I occasionally buy People, or other entertainment magazines, or dog magazines or scrapbooking magazines. I had to buy the People with Heath Ledger on the cover, just for keeps.

Kind of OT, but I thought it was kool...my mom still has a newspaper she saved from when Elvis died.

...none.

I borrow my neighbors' National Geographics (they have a pretty impressive collection). Sometimes I buy those architecture/home decor magazines.

I don't subscribe to any, but only because I'm too lazy, so I read a mix of

horse deals
dogs life (or anything dog I can find)
pet
dazed and confused
yen
G
health and slimming
and the occasional cosmo or cleo but I generally find them a awaste of money.
and a mix of cheap tabloids when I feel like something really brainless.
