What is the worst name you've ever heard?

I've never seen anything offensive thankfully.
At work we have a Sahara Snowflake (but we just call her Sahara so that's fine). I hate anything with miss or mister in front of it because when I'm angrily yelling at your dog I sound like an idiot. Also I have no idea if you actually use the miss/mr. so don't know if your dog will actually respond to it or if I should just use the name after the ms./mr. We have a Ms. Chloe and Mr. Darcy. We also had Bagel and Cream Cheese (they were together) which I don't like. We also have a Weenie (female), but she's a dachshund so it makes some sense. We had a female mastiff named Leroy.

Mine was actually owned by me, and it was a Flemish giant rabbit named The Wooden Spoon, after the wooden spoon Rumplestiltskin flew around on.
Most people around here give their dogs "normal" names. Stuff like, Blue, Timber, Buddy, or give them human names, etc. The absolute worst names I've seen were attached to human beings, unfortunately.

Luckily I haven't met a dog with a racist name!
My friends have a pug x sharpei named Chubs. He came from the breeder with that name and they didn't really like it, but they never came up with anything better. It's not the worst name ever, but I just don't understand not liking a name and just not coming up with anything else. When they got a second dog we named it for them, because they obviously couldn't be trusted. The husband didn't like the name we picked (Porter) but just like the first dog, they failed to come up with anything else and it stuck.
I got gerbils as a kid and named one Night Streaker, and called her Streaker. Apparently 7 year olds don't know what streakers are. She was black with a white stripe down her chest, so seemed like an obvious name to me. We also let my neighbor kid name another gerbil and he picked Thomas the Tank Engine. He went by Tom for short which wasn't so bad. My parents should have taken control of this situation. :lol-sign:

I used to ride horses as a kid...and the three dogs that belonged to my instructor had the worst names I can think of. She had a GSD named Crapper, a Corgi named Flush, and a JTR named Scott (after the toilet paper.)

I may have a theory on Cooter. How old were the owners?? Are they close to their 40's? We children of the 1980's had the Dukes of Hazard TV show and one of the characters was named "Crazy Cooter" who owned "Crazy Cooter's Garage." I could see someone naming their dog because of him and their love of nostalgic TV shows.
I agree Cooter took on a WAY different meaning lately....but in the 80's, Cooter totally was a TV character.

I think I have a different definition of "terrible" because aside from the racist names and "Slut" I think some of these are pretty awesome. I would totally name a pet "Mother****ing Batman".
My dogs don't have terribly imaginative names, but I have a leopard gecko names Ramses von Niblick the Third Kerplunk, Kerplunk, Whoops Where's My Thribble?
Also a parrot names Vale of Pnoth(sic).

Two of my box turtles are named Pythagoras and Euclid. My tortoises are The Great A'Tuin and There Are Four Lights.

It's funny how different areas have different common names though. I can't recall ever having a Rosco, maybe one Rocky. The others are moderately common for us. Our super common names (as in these names are always followed by the first letter of their last name because we have so many) are Riley, Bailey, and Lily. Mia, Tucker, Charlie, and Luna are also pretty common.
I was actually really surprised we didn't get a big influx of Frozen names. We've only had one, a maltese named Olaf.
Coco is a pet peeve of mine, along with similar color themed names (Midnight, Shadow). We have two chocolate labs right now named Coco.
I feel like all of our Boston Terriers have strange names. Pickles, Blueberry, Lady Stanley, and Freddy (which wouldn't be weird if she was male). That said I don't always mind food names, Pickles actually works really well for the Boston. We have a pug named meatball and that's also a good fit.
