I'm curious what you guys think, because he has me stumped. He was listed as a labradoodle with whatever rescue/shelter he came from, but I don't see it. He's a small guy, I would estimate 35-40 lbs. His coat isn't super soft but it's not wiry either. He's very active, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky once he gets to know you. His face is what throws me the most: it's really long and narrow. My mom pointed out that his face looks kind of like a long-haired Dachshund (just a really really big one, lol.) I assume he has some golden in him, but beyond that I have no idea. With his coat I would believe multi-generation goldendoodle, but I've never seen one as small as him, or with that sort of face.

His head screams dachshund, it's so weird. I guess I'd have to agree with Doxie/Golden mix. I would never guess golden doodle though.

I'm going with cocker/golden or maybe cockapoo x golden even.
I could definitely see cockapoo/golden.

I do see the Dachshund face which is odd. They do come in larger sizes, besides the mini, but usually with Dachshund mixes, you get SOMEWHAT short legs, which this guy doesn't seem to have.

Doxie/Golden, fersure. I don't see cocker or poodle at all... He's very Daschund looking, and very golden looking... So weird, and incredibly cute!

From the first photo I was thinking long haired Dachshund mix, too. Once I saw the other ones, tho, i thought Golden mix. I've seen a lot of pet bred Goldens with similar heads. I'm leaning towards Golden/Sheltie mix.

He reminds me an awful lot like my sisters new dog, who is supposedly a Lab/Dachshund mix, only the dog above has long hair, so I could see Golden/Dachshund. That being said, I've seen some "Goldendoodles" that look an awful lot like pure Goldens to me, so it wouldn't surprise me if at least one parent had poodle in it.

Interesting thoughts! I don't see any cocker in him, honestly, although I could believe golden x cockapoo maybe. I was also thinking perhaps golden x poodle/Dachshund? His face/head is so Dachshund, it's weird, but he does have totally normal proportions. If anything he has long legs for his size.

I walked a "mini goldendoodle" who looked just like a golden but with slightly coarser hair and almost terrier-like "sideburns", and in some ways he reminded me a lot of Milo. He was smaller and much more stocky, but he's a big part of the reason I wouldn't rule out goldendoodle completely - although Hugo was the only doodle I'd met that looked anything like Milo!

I'd really just guess a smaller byb golden, maybe with a tiny bit of something thrown in way down the line. I don't see Doxie, but maybe a great grandad has a goldendoodle
