I know I havent participated much since my ban was lifted, but the Grammy thread was one of the reasons I visit daily.

Why was the sticky removed?

Grammy doesnt deserve to be there. Mods please replace the sticky or delete my account.

This forum meant a lot to Grammy, and Grammy meant a lot to this forum, and Grammy meant a lot to me.

Many members of this forum where adopted by Grammy and she deserves a place, that place is not in Buried Bones.

She welcomed strangers from the internet into her home, as we where all members from Chaz.

She had her own grandchildren, but she was also my Grammy and she means lot to me.

I got to meet Nash, and Ollie. I still miss her.

The description of Buried Bones forum:

"The best Chazhound Posts compiled. Home of the old stickies."

It's been four years... Grammy is never forgotten, and her post is right at the top of that forum as well. It's like everything else in this world. We move on, but we don't forget.

Maybe the rainbow bridge would be a better place for Grammy's post?...
I'm not sure I find it fitting that it's in the buried bones forum :/

I don't disagree. Though I think the name of the forum is what bothers folks, that's why I quoted the forum description.

Wonder what the mods think?

Yeah, the name is what threw me off - I know that the buried bones is for old stickies, but Grammy did mean alot to many, and I think the rainbow bridge would be more fitting :)

I moved it to the Buried Bones board. I was doing some cleanup and moved some aged stickies around.

It's still stickied, just in the buried bones.

I have no issue with it being in the Rainbow Bridge, the general dog forum, fire hydrant or the rainbow bridge. Rainbow Bridge seems like a good choice, so I've put it there at this time. Still stickied.

Thanks Eddie for moving it back. Grammy holds a special place in my heart and in many on Chaz that knew her.

Just so everyone knows, I meant no disrespect to Grammy. She was, and clearly still is, very important to many of us here, to the current and former moderators in particular. I was just moving some threads that hadn't had any activity for some time and grabbed hers as well.

Eddie, Grammy belongs in the Hydrant. If you disagree delete my account.

Thank you
Grammy's adopted grandson, Blue.

So bizarre.. maybe I'm out of line because it was before I was here, but can't you just stop signing in if it makes you that angry that a stickied thread got moved? I don't understand lol

What is wrong with the rainbow bridge? To me that seems the best and most respectful place.
^ yup. A memorial forum for all those we have lost. IMO, Grammy would have been honoured to be included there with all of the pups and animals we have lost before.

I'm interested in why the OP was banned(but, I can kind of see why), but I'm really not wanting to start anything. So, I'll leave it at that.

Personally? The best place for the Grammy thread is the rainbow bridge. Because, it is subforum dedicated to any pets that we've lost. So, it does make to put it sense.

I agree with this! I think she'd be happy to be right with all the dogs (and other animals and even a member who passed on) who she knew and loved, and even the ones she might not have got a chance to meet in this life over here before they met her in her new life!

This is just coming from the short period I got to know her when I first joined, before she passed, but the Fire Hydrant might be a bit too busy and dramatic for her over the peace of all the critters she's with now! ;)

I know in the past there has been memorial threads for a murdered member in the rainbow bridge.

But yeah maybe change it to include dogs and people.

I think it's better than the fire hydrant because that's usually for debates or just chit chat or complaining.

I am also glad there is a memorial thread kept. One of my friends in real life was a member of another board and none was kept for her after she passed away. She was a long time poster with a lot of friends and gave out countless advice and in time it just faded away... I've brought it back on the anniversary of her death but just falls to the back again because the newer posters didn't know her. Makes me sad. :(
