I'm new here also. I have a beagle she does some agality, I believe she can jump 1 ft and 1/2. We are very intrested in freestyle, she knows a variety of tricks and we put together routines for my family on the holidays. We do all this for fun and don't expect to enter anything soon my dog is older(6) so I try to go easier on her.

Conformation - Visa has four points towards her Canadian championship from just one show. She's laso been in several sanction matches. Our next show is in Jun or July I believe. I will definatly do it until she achieves her CH, but after that I'm not sure if I will continue or not, as my main show focus will be her puppy. I may, just for fun.

Agility - We started lessons last year and we are trialling this year. I'm hoping Visa will get her first title this year or even a couple of titles. She's an amazing agility dog. I'm going to start coaching as well. Visa's puppy will also be in agility, it's such a great sport.

Herding - Visa and I went to Lumby last year and did some herding to achieve her HIC. She did very well, she has TONS of drive. I'd like to go to a herding clinic in the next couple of years and start competing. I don't know if I will put her puppy into it, I'll get his HIC, but otherwise I think herding will be Visa's thing.

Obedience - I haven't done alot of formal obedience training, and we haven't taken any classes, but we do have our first trial coming up in less than a month. I'd like to achieve her CD this year. After that, I don't think obedience is my thing. I might do her puppy's CD as well. I love watching obedience, but to be honest, I have no use for formal obedience and it isn't as interesting as agility. Who knows, I may love it alot, but I'm not sure. We'll see how we do at the trial.

Sledding - I bought Visa's racing harness last year but we haven't done alot of training. I just bought a contraption for her to pull today though. I'm hoping there will be some one-dog races in the net few years. Visa is fast and has tons of energy and a fairly good sense of direction.

flying disc - I've been training since last year and we're entering the big competition in July.

I'd love to get into dock diving, freestyle, and flyball, but there isn't anything like that around here. :( Our agility club is starting Rally-O and I'm going to get involved in that.
