What does you dog get mistaken for?

Most people accurately label Rhys as a 'pit bull' but no one ever says American Pit Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier (he's both, he's dual registered). Most people are disappointed that he's full grown and not 100 pounds lol. When he was a young puppy we got Boxer a lot, which makes sense because of his color.
Last night we were in Pet Supplies Plus (we live within walking distance of one) and I was weighing the boys. The lady working the front register accurately labeled him as an Amstaff. I was shocked. Apparently she did conformation for years with Akitas and owned what sounds like a very nice Amstaff back in the 90s. She seemed very knowledgeable about structure and was complementary of his attributes. It was refreshing.
Henry gets everything, poor boy. Some are fairly accurate; he's some sort of hound mix. Others are way off base.

Most people are pretty good with guessing Yorkie, they're usually just thrown off by his size so it's more of a ".... yorkie?" question. I am actually shocked at the number of people who guess Silky Terrier considering they're not really that well-known. I didn't even know what they were until after I had Jackson.
The other one I get a lot is "Look, it's the Toto dog!" (which is a Cairn Terrier) so... I guess close enough lol.

Joey (Ibizan hound)- most guesses are greyhound with upright ears. I've gotten saluki oddly enough and I've gotten Great Dane mix before. Greyhound and large whippet seem to be the majority of the guesses I get.
Bamm (BC mix)- I actually mainly get border collie guesses actually. I've been asked before if he was a coyote/dog mix though.
Cricket (mexidog)- their guess is as good as mine? There's really not much doubt that she is a xolo type mix of whatever, but I get a lot of shepherd mix guesses when I don't see that in her at all. Whippet is another guess I get a lot which probably isn't too far off the mark since I'm sure she has some Sighthound influence in there somewhere. I've had a few people call her a mini Dutch shepherd lol.
Itztli (Xoloitzcuintli)- majority of people don't even know what a xolo is to even guess that so I'm not surprised I get some weird guesses. I've gotten shepherd/lab mix because of his ears. I've been asked if he is a pit mix. Lab mix seems to be majority of the people. When his ears are taped people will ask if he is part Doberman and I've been asked if he is a Dane puppy before.

Juno is usually a boston terrier or a boxer mix. I'm usually pleasantly surprised if they know she's just a straight up boxer lol.

No one knows what a Cizsla is on this island unless they know Penn. She has been Lab, Whippet, Greyhound, Weimy, Ridgie, several mix breed guesses, Great Dane puppy, Dachshund and lots of others but those are the most common guesses for her. Poor girly.
I've also had people fight with me saying they know for SURE Vizsla isn't a real breed and I got ripped off by a shitty backyard breeder and I should get my money back. 4 different people have actively fought with me about the breed..

Now everyone knows Brooks is a Poodle, but when he had a long puppy coat (puppy coat isn't very curly) everyone guessed Goldendoodle. And when I said, no, he's a poodle, I got a loooong glance and then an incredulous "really? I've never seen one with a coat like that......"
Goose doesn't go to public places a lot (stranger danger, so she enjoys car rides, but not so much going IN places) but while some do sometimes get Chow correct, she's a Shar pei mix a lot.

Lucy gets schipperke fairly often, which is such an uncommon breed that I'm honestly surprised so many people know the name! She is small and black and fluffy, but she's not a schip!
I get border collie a lot too. There may very well be some border in her, but I'm surprised how many people are convinced she is full border collie, since the general public seems to thing BC's must be black and white.
