Hello guys Ilovedogs56 here and yes I KNOW I made one of these before. This is the more specific better one. Enjoy!

-I want a medium sized dog, like a Cocker Spaniel size.
-I am willing to give an hour and a half of exercise a day to my pooch.
-I want a biddable dog. Not a hard headed dog but also not too biddable.
-I don't want a dog that is aloof I like Velcro dogs that like to cuddle.
-An average day would be a thirty minute walk, thirty minute run, and a Wesson of mental training.
-I want a dog that is good with other animals and dogs.
-No heavy shedding or drool.
-Grooming could be brushing 5 days a week but not frequent trips to the groomers.

Well that's all I could think of at the moment. Buh-Bye! ;)

What about a crestie? Other than a bit more in the grooming dept (though you could get a hairless) Schen, who is a powderpuff, is all that you ask for. And really I could simply shave him down to a pony cut twice a year and be done with all the hair.

a westie came to mind for me, they do have grooming requirements but you could clip them short to minimize it. I'm not sure what keeping on in full-coat requires.

A norfolk terrier might fit too.

I'm also a little curious about your size range? I consider cocker spaniels to be pretty small or small-medium dogs, and medium to me can mean anything from bigger-than-toy-sized to a lab or smaller golden. Do you have a weight or height range?

A beagle might work, if you'd be able to keep them on-leash, and while they're certainly not the most biddable, if you figure out how they like to learn, they are quite trainable.

A poodle would also be a great fit except for grooming, but again you could do a short puppy cut every few months and not need to worry otherwise.

An american eskimo would also be a good fit except they are heavy shedders - especially when blowing coat - but it can be minimized with diet and brushing...

The weight range would be 30-60 pounds. I LOVE LOVE LOVE beagles. And poodles are cool and I could keep him/her in a puppy cut. Westies are feisty little dogs. I never heard of Norfolk terriers before. Boxers are kind of uppity and stuff ya know? And an American eskimo would be good but the shedding is a lot for me. I will keep these breeds in mind. Bye! :)

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by uppity - energetic? They are that, for sure. LOL! They are also extremely biddable. Not overly intelligent, but their bidability makes up for it to me. Grooming is nonexistent, and they are a medium size (well, properly bred ones are, for the most part).

Energetic, for sure. But a good run for 30 minutes, twice a day, plus training would be good enough I believe. They honestly sound like a breed that really fits what you are looking for.

Our family boxer is 8 years old and that's barely enough exercise for him daily. Boxers are considered a very high energy breed. They're more mellow than super-intense breeds, but they are lot of dog for many people looking for a typical pet dog. It sounds like the OP is looking for something smaller, for one (she said cocker spaniel sized...our boxer is 75 lbs, although a smaller boxer might fit) and probably less energetic.

Milo's Mommy is right, I am kind of looking for a less energetic breed (and smaller). Boxers are probably just not my type. I don't want an all-in-your-face dog. I want something that will like to follow me but not too much.
