I don't understand the scoring. It says Economic Left/Right? Does that mean you lean more to the left or right?

It think the point is that it's not just a line. More like a grid. Did you look at the chart at the end?

I find it odd that people who are in favor of me having to pay my money to their causes dont donate more than what is taxed. War folks usually dont offer the government more money and people who think welfare is good dont offer the government more money same with those in favor of the war on drugs and terror.

I also find it odd that probably 90% of Americans have strong libertarian ideals but we still have dems and reps for presidents

I'm not a fan of war or welfare. I can't begin to understand enough about war to sound mildly intelligent lol but I do believe in prevention and with welfare I think better education would help. Not just for white collar jobs. People need to find out what they love to do and what they are good at even if it's plunging toilets.

Education is the key to being successfull!!

Why was it forbiden to teach slaves to read? Why are women in many arab and Islamic countries denied education? The easiest way to keep a group from achiving and being successfull is to deny them an education.

No one loves plunging toilets. I am glad our education system isnt better than what it is or we would have no one to do those jobs. Kids like I was are not educatable with any amount of money. If the money came out of my dads pocket Im sure he would have taken more interest in my studies not to mention the hot water I would have been in if I would have failed. I may have lousy jobs now but people need me to do em lol

I see your point and its a good point however, I dont see why people who dont have children of school age have to fund educating those kids.

If I could keep all of my money that goes into social programs I would be able to provide a nicer life for my parents (who worked all there lives to die broke)and for my sister who is sucking the public nipple.

That's kind of my point though. that kids need to learn that there is a market for all kinds of jobs and you have to do what works of you. In my school you weren't going to amount to anything if you didn't go to university. There is a HUGE shortage of tradespeople in this province and most of them don't need an education adn they get paid more than most white colour jobs. I think that schools should have electrician, plumbing, mechanic... options in school for students to at least try there hand at and see if it works. Lots of people use their hands way better than their brains and trying to change that just doesn't work.
