I can't think of anything. I mean, I choose comcast over verizon because the verizon guys are always jerks to me when I've called, but is that boycotting? I have no problem if someone else likes them better.

I don't go to Walmart unless I am having to take someone else or it is a gift card situation. I saw what the chain did to my community and I just cant' be a part of it.

i avoid pet stores that sell puppies.

I try to patron mom and pop shops as much as possible, including gas stations and I try to keep my spending in our small community.

Is there something about Lush i don't know?

I haven't shopped there in a while so maybe I'm out of the loop.
For me its because in England they supported the hunt sabs.

It is not a point of me agreeing with hunting (foxes on horseback) the hunt sabs have seriously injured and maimed ponies and children by laying razor wire etc where they will ride.

They says their products are organic etc ect yet they still use parabins, sulfate and SLS products. Also the sents are unnatural and they had a huge campaigne against Albertas oil sands, yet they still use oil in their products and containers.

I would really like to boycott iTunes right now but, sadly, I NEED my account to work. I am simply INFURIATED over this issue! https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2045791?start=0&tstart=0

I have tried all the "tricks" and it simply isn't working. it is strictly and APPLE issue, it is a glitch on their end and when I emailed iTunes support I was simply told that I must be entering something wrong and to recheck this and that and call my bank. I did all those things, it is NOT my problem it is theirs. When I told them that I had done it all to no avail, they stopped replying to my emails and they don't HAVE a number I can call. They are basically refusing to help me with a problem that I, and many others, are having which is causing us to be UNABLE TO SPEND MONEY with them and is completely an issue on their end. I am dumbfounded.

I should just jailbreak my darn phone! As it stands now I cannot even update existing apps or download free apps for my phone without a working credit card on my account. It is just the biggest load of BS ever.

Sorry to thread jack. You asked, lol. ;) I feel a little better now.

Fran's switching teams now? *perks up* :rofl1:

Okay, so, seriously. . . I boycott anything Bath & Body Works because their stuff is awful and used to make me ill.

I won't buy from Exxon.

I won't buy anything dog collar-ey from 2 Hounds Design or Wiggles Wags Whiskers because I got defective products and was jerked around in a long series of e-mails, told I'd get a replacement and 8 months later still haven't. I'm so unimpressed with their customer service it's not even funny. I called to tell them I was dissatisfied with their product and I had previously been a (mostly) happy customer, and the owner called back and was terse and said she needed pictures, so I sent her some. . . and then it became The Series of E-Mails From Hell in which she told me it wasn't defective, it was totally normal, and then told me if I sent her my info she'd send a replacement. The entire thing pissed me off so much that I wont buy from them even though they have beautiful stuff.

Can't think of much else that I actually boycott, though. There are some things I would LIKE to boycott (P&G and wal-mart, for instance) but really can't.
