Yes, its really sad....and so true. I think the best that everyone can do to help avoid this problem, is to spay and neuter their pups. We can't fix what has been done....but we can make sure the future is a little brighter.... And that every dog has a furever home....

I personally hope that the hundreds who lurk here ( not members ) will see these things..... just think , those who may have thought of breeding, or not spaying or neutering ...and change their minds could save up to 1000s of pups a year by them not being whelped in the first place .

tobylittledude - i haven't been this sad since i had to watch a friends wife put their rottweiler down (because of their own neglect). seeing those poor puppies all lined up....and the animals in the barrels....and the guy sitting in front of his (i'm assuming) dog. :(
as a child my mom and dad wouldn't let me go to an animal shelter becuase every time they did i cried at what i saw and wanted to bring them all home.
i don't care what any of you may think of me...but no animal deserves to be put down because it doesn't have a home.

i worked at a vets office in S.C. and it never gets easier to see people having to put their animals down because they can't afford to care for them...or because they don't want them. i cried over every surgery, euthanasia and neglect issue that could have been prevented.
