Want to see a Paco Collar that spent 3 months in floodwater?

I FINALLY found it, in the corner of our canning room in the basement, sitting in a puddle of floodwater we'd missed.

Other than the nasty splotchiness of the brass... look how GOOD the condition is!!!'

Definitely send the picture! That's pretty amazing. And that brass can probably be polished up nicely again with some Brasso or something.

PS - actually considering leaving it as-is, the brass looks kind of neat all tarnished, and it's got a good story to go with it.

Paco collars are wonderful and sturdy Ginger has worn hers daily for over a year and it still looks great We're getting Goose her own once she finishes growing, since we finally have a Chow with a coat that allows the collar to be seen. Poor Aesop is too furry

I'm thinking of getting Quinn a Paco Collar for her birthday. It will eaither be Paco, EllasLead (Buster has one of those and it awesome, 10 months old now and still looks great and is as strong as ever) or a Ruthless collar (leather collars made in Aus) but I'm not sure yet.

It's smooth to the touch, but it's not very pliable - but there are no rough edges, everything is buttery smooth. I don't know if that makes sense.

I've found that the double-layer Paco collars never get floppy-soft, but they do get very smooth-soft. They're very solid collars.
