I had to put Verde down last Oct due to an issue with her abdominal tract. Only way to find out exactly what was wrong was a full abdominal exam. She was 10 and I didnt want her to go through that, and I didnt want to go through that.

This last April I had to have Blue's belly drained only to find his liver was done. He was also 10. I had Blue from when he was 6 weeks old. This was hard but I think he knew it was for the best.

I have their ashes in the widow that gets the evening sun. I have their paw prints that I will eventually use for tattoos.

Meet Lucy., she has a lot of traits of both Blue and Verde.

She has Blue's separation anxiety, I have to let her spend 5-10 minutes loving on me after coming home or she wont do her business outside. She wont let the window be covered. She also has a greater attachment to me then Blue did.

She is calmer then Verde, and quieter. She is a brindle pit mix like Verde as well.

Im convinced my two hellions helped push Lucy on me. I will always miss them.

I am so sorry. YOu know that Blue and Verde always had a soft spot in my heart. THey were lucky dogs to have you, and I know you were lucky to have them. It is all a dog could ever ask for in this life. Adventure and love makes a completely happy life, you gave them that.

I'm so sorry. They sounded like amazing dogs. But it's wonderful that you were able to open your heart to a new pup, especially since it sounds like you took her out of a bad situation. Rest in peace, Verde and Blue.

Blue, I'm so sorry to hear about Verde and Blue. They both became part of my family here on Chaz. I know Lucy is one lucky girl to have you in her life. I bet Verde & Blue sent her to you to love like you did them. Hugs

Thank yall for your kind words. Im going to miss the hellions for the foreseeable future in all the little things.

I couldnt even take their ashes out of the Jeep for months after Verde, and a few weeks for Blue. I have their paw prints.
