I'm going cross eyed looking at them all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needs to be on the strip, good location, fun hotel, not too seedy but good value.... Doesn't need to be perfect, I can overlook imperfections for a good deal and good experience!!!

I don't really want to spend more than £150/$250 for 2 nights, less if I can......!!!! I've discovered booking rooms in the USA is crazy because you don't get the set fee, you have to do maths to work out taxes and resort fees etc!! What's that all about lol?!

I think the cheapest on the strip is probably Flamingo but I could be mistaken. I just got back from Las Vegas (when I picked up Paris) and decided to make a weekend of it. I stayed at Circus Circus because it was the cheapest and I thought 'hey, it's not like I'm gonna spend the weekend in the hotel room.' It was super seedy and a pretty far walk from the strip, but served its purpose, haha.

I haven't been to Vegas in a few years, but for a reasonable price and location, I would recommend the MGM Grand or New York, New York.

They are both right on the Strip, and you can easily get to a lot of other casinos from there.

Are you going to be there during the week or on the weekend? The prices are usually way, way cheaper during the week!

Too bad you're going to Vegas so late!! I'm in Vegas next week lol. Staying at the Aria but I'm not sure how good their prices are. I just know it's a fancy hotel in the middle of the strip.

I was just there for a conference. I stayed at the New Tropicana. I thought it was good value for the price. It's near the end of the strip but not too far from the action.

Whatever you do, do not stay at Excalibur. All I have heard are horror stories.

I stayed at Treasure Island as a kid. My parents had booked Circus Circus but the place was sketchy and it smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere. They ended up cancelling last minute and rebooking at Treasure Island. I don't remember much about the rooms, but my parents must have thought that it was preferable to Treasure Island. Plus, they have a nightly free show at TI, so it wouldn't be bad to be close and get a good spot!

I went to their bar last summer, though didn't stay at TI - and if it makes any difference, they have a mechanical bull haha :p
