Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello. Mojo and I are still doing well, we're definately moving at the end of the summer due to my downstairs neighbor. I don't really have a place lined up, but my parents have offered to let me stay in the basement of their house in Madison. It will be pretty much us roughing it again, but it will allow me to pay off some old bills, hopefully buy a new computer, and get ready for finding a place of my own in the spring.
Or at least that's what I'm hoping for....
Relations with my downstairs neighbor are still pretty crappy. Last night was 4th of July, and she was having a party blowing up fireworks right outside our windows. Okay, fine and good... it IS 4th of July. But what bugged me was these two things:
a. their pit bull puppy was crated barely feet from where they were lighting off fireworks. Every so often I could hear her squeal in fear, but they would just laugh.
b. when i went outside at 11:30pm to walk Mojo, they didn't STOP until I yelled at them to stop blowing crap up while we walked by. I mean, pardon my acronyms, but wtf?
So, I am just itching for the time when I settle things with my parents, and I can start moving things out of my apartment. I want to just be gone NOW, but I have to pay another month's rent (August) so I might as well finish out the lease. I've already started the sort and pack routine of moving, but will be steadily looking forward to just getting out of there.
Anyway, that's what's going on in my life - other than my job sucks, my computer is still dead (it's new name is Zombie), my boyfriend and I are still trying to salvage the relationship, and I wish I could get more weight off of Mojo's frame. Mojo is still my light, and he is still how he always is although becoming apprehensvie about all the change.
At least last night didn't seem to freak him out too much -- I kept calm so he stayed calm.
I hope everyone else is well... I will try to check in again as time and computer access allows.
