Hey folks. No luck finding another job but I’ve mowed a few lawns and my dad and I decided to have a garage sale this weekend and split the money, so that’s cool, I’ll be doing well money-wise this weekend for sure.

Well, in between mowing lawns and preparing for the garage sale, I’ve been thinking about my spirituality. I feel like I’m in a transitional phase of my life, spiritually-speaking. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing – I’m learning and growing. Asking questions. I’ve been directing questions to a very good friend of mine, who’s a Christian, and we’ve sort of been arguing with each other, friendly arguments. I’ve been to a Theology forum and asked questions there as well – I’ve been pondering and reading around, different books and articles. As of right now, I’ve sort of settled on agnosticism.

Anyhow, the Rock and I have been doing well – it’s been a pretty good, contemplative summer. I can’t really complain right now. That’s it, and thanks for tuning in to hear BigDog’s latest ponderings and feats. ;) :)

I'm glad that things are going well. :)

Spirituality wise, I went through the same thing as you when I was like 14. I used to hang out on a message board called Is There A God? Funny thing is, I settled on agnosticism too. I gradually went towards atheism in my late teens/early 20s.

Do you at least like your job? I think I remember you saying it doesn't pay very well. But as you know, there are more important things than money. :)

No, I didn't. I didn't think it was worth it at all. So now I'm mowing lawns and waiting for a garage sale. :)

Ah, I didn't realize that you'd already quit.

I just got a new job waiting tables... they pay minimum wage while you "train" for 3 shifts... basically you get to be your trainers bitch. Good times. :) hehehe

Hahah, sounds fun. I just picked up an application for Burger King. Flipping burgers is where it's at!

Good luck on the garage sale! God knows we could use one right now too (but too lazy to set one up).

About your spirituality, I think it's normal to change as you change. Just don't worry about trying to find what type you fit into, as long as you know what you believe in, I don't think it matters to have a name for it (just IMO).

And let's hope you'll find a job eventually!
