First of all, my friend has done every time what was told in this sticky what one should do before creating threads:
Got Questions? READ THIS FIRST

My friend has once again spend a lot of time in finding threads. :( However, she hasn't found a thread about following topic: she would like to find also other tricks in addition to shake where a dog stays in the same place and/or position also between repetitions. She has already tried what was suggested about shake in this thread. :) She has also tried some other things suggested about other behaviors... So, does anyone know some easy tricks where the dog stays in the same place and/or position for example sitting or lying down? Does someone have other training ideas? Lotta is going to be spayed about in a week. After that my friend should try to keep Lotta calm. If my friend is going to train Lotta also after the operation, it should be something where she doesn't move much.

My friend has met a trainer. You have suggested it in other threads.

Sit to down.
Down to sit.
Down to stand.
Stand to down.
Sit pretty/beg.
Spin left/right.
Bang! (Play dead)
Bad dog/shame (cover the nose).
Balancing things on the dogs head/nose/paws.
Stand on hind legs.
Hold something in mouth.
Balance on something (stool/box).
Speak (bark).
Bow.

The list goes on..... I'd recommend googling and youtube if you want specifics on training each one.

Thank you for your quick answer! :p

My friend can look into those others. She has tried to teach Lotta to bow and spin. We once asked about shame. Someone linked a video where someone had combined nodding and shake. She has already tried what was suggested about shake...

When we wrote that my friend was thinking more about tricks where Lotta remains sitting or lying down and does small movements. Then she might stay more calm. At the beginning it would be a better idea to teach those kind of tricks. Does someone know such? If my friend would in that stage teach Lotta tricks, where the dog changes her/his position or moves around, Lotta might get too excited. That's not so good.

You can also google 'crate rest activities' for more ideas.

I found this video (Crate Rest Activities for Dogs) and this article (Crate Rest and the High Drive Dog) very well thought out. :)
My friend visited those websites. Some of those behaviors are difficult to Lotta. Here are some reasons we have asked for ideas here:

1) It's sometimes difficult to find the kind of tricks one is looking for. My friend doesn't always know what words to use in searh.
2) My friend tried sometimes to find a list of easy tricks. However, she didn't always know which of the tricks are easy.
3) When my friend earlier saw some trick lists, she didn't see these in them:

So, like we told it would be better if Lotta wouldn't move much when she would be doing those tricks. Does anyone have any kind of ideas? What kind of tricks others have teached to their dogs for example after operation? Does someone know websites where there would be easy tricks there?
