Trick of the Week: Perch

Here's us working on a harder perch, a water jug. Very slippery but there are some areas of traction on top, so I think it's possible. She got up there and sat for a couple seconds before I started videoing. I really love this trick because it is sooo taxing on her, and now she's passed out splayed across me.

Late to the game and not nearly as impressive but...

I had a lot of fun. I think I'm using the clicker 'wrong' but she's getting the hang of it. She used to be so shy about any noises and just really lacked self esteem. It only took a couple minutes for her to get from not touching the bin at all to standing on it. We're both doing a lot better! opcorn:

That is SO COOL!! And curse all of you, Onyx is awesome as are all the other awesome perchy dogs. I'm sick and I was going to go to bed but you guys make me want to stay up and continue working on our knee stall, which HURTS.
