I had the same thought about the walk on the tarmac. How sad for the puppies. And I hope the family didn't see it.

That is exactly why I want to know if they were leashed. Either way there is MASSIVE liability. If they were not leashed, the person who took them for a walk. If they were leashed, the guy driving the vehicle has some BIG explaining to do.

I find it odd that you assume that it would be any less of a tragedy. I am questioning the sequence of events that lead to their death.

From listening to this mornings news, apparently they were leashed and he was walking them across the tarmac toward a grassy area. But what I don't get is how on earth did they both get hit, and the person walking them not get injured? Were they on a long flexi leash? It's just so bizarre and sad. I feel for them, they just lost their son last year, they didn't need this. Their 10 year old must be taking this so hard.

On a lighter and good news, though, I just found out that John's wife, Kelly, is pregnant.

I think it was very much a tragedy. If I would was JT I would use my influence to get the dog walker fired and ruined.
