Thunder

We had really bad thunder last night enough to make power out,left us in the dark for hours.No TV,no Internet,no phone etc..

Fortunately we had my husband's laptop PC had still more power with battery so,we ended up watching DVD "Narnia" (second one) on his laptop.

Today,Post office near here cannot take credit card because phone line is not working.I had to go next town Post office because of that.

My question is,what do you do if you were left out in the dark with power outage? If laptop battery got out,we cannot do much. We can go bed but if it were like 8pm,too early to sleep.

I have a bazillion candles we can light and flashlights... we would probably play board games by candle light or cards

Well, the last time we lost power, it wasn't even dark out and we didn't know what to do with ourselves! BF and I sat down and stared at each other for a few minutes, and then decided to go to the mall!
