Those with multiple dogs...

When my mom brought Lola home, Jackson was fine with her but he didn't immediately love her. After about a week or two though, they really bonded. She's over 1 year old now (he's 7) and they still play often! Lots of wrestling, tug of war games, chase, etc. He's really tolerant of her still. They just mesh really well. She's very "clueless" and non-threatening so I think Jackson knows she's basically just a little sister lol.

At my dads house, he has 2 dogs and they don't play, like at all. Lily the JRT mix is a giant bitch though and even though she was pretty good with him when she was a pup, I think it's the terrier thing. She's a bitch and Jackson won't put up with it.

Anyway I know what kind of dogs Jackson likes so I will have an easy time finding another future dog. For now, Lola and he are a great pair and even though she's technically my moms dog, it's essentially turned into having 2 dogs for me and I honestly love it.

Our dogs dont play, Hubby's dog, Josefina is a huge stick in the mud ... as far as Lincoln is concerned LOL, she tolerates him and will play sometimes, but its frustrating to him (and me!) because one day she will be all like "YAY playtime!!!" and then, the next she will be like "**** you." and it's really confusing to poor Lincoln, and since she wont properly repel him, they are separated since I do not want him learning bad doggy manners from her.

We have three dogs, but we also do crate/rotate.

Our BBM and golden mix are usually the ones together, while our terrier is mostly on his own.

The big ones usually do play when they get bored (usually at 5am). When they get really excited, they'll start rolling around on the floor and playfully biting each other. It's usually Nitro who initiates, since Buddy just started learning to play with other dogs in the last 3 years, but my golden has been starting to initiate lately.

When Hobbes and Buddy are together, Hobbes will play with him and have zoomies all over while Buddy tries to keep up. They both initiate play when they want, but they will both relax and sleep if they want to.

My two play with each other all the time. One is still a puppy and the other is a puppy at heart who adores other dogs. They will both play with me, and with each other kind of at the same time. Sometimes it starts with soliciting play from me, and then the other joins in, and sometimes they just go straight to playing with each other. I do make them knock it off when they are getting really rough in the house, but if they are being gentle and quiet they can continue. Not sure if it's because they're the same breed, because they're related, or because Watson taught Hazel how to play, but they do the exact same play moves over and over. Their favorite is biting the other one's back leg, to the point where they are both standing there holding on to each other's leg at the same time while spinning in circles.

At work, the main group of boys mostly do their own thing, opting to nap or chew on bones instead of playing. We did recently add a puppy to their group, and the puppy will sometimes be able to convince them to play.

The main group of girls are about half and half. We have a few pups that were born around the same time, they all like to play together. The older ones mainly just lay around and watch the youngins.

The smaller groups of mixed sexes mainly do their own things.

Mysti loves to play with both Kieber and Zane.
Deputy is the fun police. He'll run between whatever two dogs are playing at the moment and try and "break it up".
