I mean it. All the windows in the house are open! :banana:

That is a momentous occasion in Texas! It's actually not a$$-sizzling hot outside! I don't think we've been able to open the windows like this since early March. There's a beautiful breeze blowing, and the temps are in the 70s.

Everyone's enjoying the cool, but we're rather leery. Normally, we don't start getting glimpses of cooler weather until at least early October. Now we're all wondering if it's going to be another one of those freeeezing cold winters. Oh well. If we get a cold winter, it's only fair. Last winter was so unseasonably mild that it was ridiculous.

Anybody else starting to see the beginning of fall?

But I did burn my feet on the driveway just now, so it's not cool out, lol.

We had them open yesterday too and last night.

I woke up to 52 degrees this morning; it was cold! We're going up to 75.

I'm glad to see the weather on tv that it will be 60 at night and high 80's during the day. I love sleeping with the cooler nights.

Yes, the windows are open and there is a lovely, cool, northern wind! The temp is about 65/70. I sat outside on the deck, drank coffee, and watched the pups play. Great morning.

I woke up this morning, got the dog out his kennel, and opened the back door to let him out.....and then I became disoriented. Was I dreaming? Where was I? Why did it feel that way outside? I looked around, determined I was awake, and realized that yes, it really was a sunshiny 71 degrees with a breeze....in southeast Louisiana! Glory hallelujah!!!!!

That's how it is most of the summer here. There were a few weeks where I couldn't dare open the windows until around 5:00 at night, as during the day it was too hot...like 85 or something. Now lately, it's definitely cooler...68 give or take but still sunny. I bet you guys who live where it's super hot in summer are really enjoying the cooler temps now. I know I do. Even 85 makes me lethargic. lol. I'm a heat wimp.

Well . . . since windows ARE my air conditioning, lol! But it's really been nice to have to turn off the fan at night.
