The Venting Thread

My arm decided to swell up to about a baseball sized red knot. I am pretty sure that it is just a bad reaction to a bug bite and not like... brown recluse or whatever. It's really hot feeling around it and itches like crazy. My coworkers are trying to get me to go in to the doctor.
I was AT the doctor yesterday, why couldn't I have had this yesterday?
I'd take a Benadryl but I'd be passed out in my office shortly if I did.
ETA: I should add I do have a history of bad reactions to plain old mosquito bites so I'm betting on that.

Ugh, I'm sick on vacation, I was so looking forward to this trip. This just sucks.
Yesterday was horrible. I got sick & just slept. I think it was food posioning. I was tired & first,& had a headache. Then I got sick. I was totally disoriented, my vision was out of whack(hallucination, maybe, I don't even remember much of last night).
But I do have internet.

Ick! I used to have horrible reactions to blackfly bites, similar to what you're describing, but with the added fun of my eyes swelling shut too.
I hope some benadryl helps once it's safe to take it!
Do you have any ice or cream or something that you can put on it for the time being?

So I looked at my credit report, and I have a derogatory account open, to the tune of $215. Uh, 'scuse me? I know the things I am late on because of this move, and they have all been taken care of (most of them actually didn't report me at all, because my credit is so good and so is my reputation for ALWAYS paying).
So for shits and giggles I googled it and most people said it is a cellphone company. Hm. Cell phone? I wonder.
It looks like, after heeing and hawing about how I need my own phone plan, and I paid it up, turned the phone in and told him to cancel it, Jin simply (FINALLY. AFTER 8 **** MONTHS OF WAITING. CONVENIENTLY) switched everything to my name and refused to pay anything at all.
So Verizion wants over $300 from me.
Good lord there is no words for my hate right now.

My 2 "best friends" decided they would rather take a road trip (specifically excluding me). Then, we were invited to the drive-in by some other friends, on the condition that I drove everyone there. So they could drink.

I'm spaying my first dog to-morrow (a humane society dog)... pretty much the only preparation I've had is watching a video :yikes: I can't do this. Watching a video is supposed to be adequate preparation??? I've never even done this on a cadaver before! It's just absurd that they can expect us to watch a video and then be prepared to perform a procedure we've never done before (we've done other simpler procedures... but it's not nearly the same thing!)
You might as well tell me to watch a football game on TV and then strap me to a helmet and some pads and then enter me in an actual football game against dozens of 6'6" tall Samoan guys
