None of these are really recent, but I like them. I don't know if they qualify for "really awesome", but with my limited experience, I am pretty proud of these in particular.

These first four were all taken in May 2008 while on a camping trip:

I have a few more from some different events...

I LOVE that last one! It looks so much like one of my favorite photos I found on the web one day...it definitely belongs in this thread!

Two from a family vacation in July:

(I LOVED this photo when I first took it. Now I'm looking back and seeing all sorts of little things I wish I'd done better, but oh well.)

And then this one. I'm pretty sure this is the first photo I got out of my new camera that really looked good!

Now I just need to get into some photo editing and really figure out how to make the most of my images.

My old house in NY- grandpa built it- I grew up in it

Need I explain why this pic is just awesome?

I just loved this one so much even though it isn't spectacular

Oh man, the dial up is killing me here.

Here's my favorite one. I made friends with this butterfly while camping in the Chiricahua MTS. Aurelia and Strider were napping.

Gotta ask where those were taken! They look a lot like Cave Springs, VA, one of my favorite camping areas.

They were taken in Starved Rock State Park in Illinois. It was a fun little weekend trip. It was right by the river, too, but I didn't really get any good pictures from that part of the park. I did much better on the hiking trails. :)

Ok this is my awesome picture lol

Besides the fact that it is my child in the picture hehe... I just love this picture. I love how close up it is and you can really see her eyes and the picture is just HER and nothing else. I love it

Here are a few that I have taken that I like...well, until I look at Andrews work I like. I think I have posted some of these a long time ago. I hope I get more ambitious this spring and summer than I was last year.

Howwwww did I miss this thread? How?

Took this one quite recently... one of the many Buddhas in my house... he's tiny...

Taken at the Met in NYC, with my 40 year old film camera...

A few neat photos from dog shows...

No idea whose kid this was, but it was her first dog show...
