I just finished the Rama series (Rendezvous with Rama, Rama II, Garden of Rama, Rama Revealed) and have to say I enjoyed it.

Rama II was the worst book of the four but it improved dramatically since then. All of them have interesting insights into human behavior and addresses some religious issues (and Clarke was decidedly in favor of a God, though he portrays God differently in the last book). But as a story over all, still very good. He does a good job of tying in external references, while still building a world of his own, and making the story believable with the way people act and react.

Worth the read if you like science fiction and probably even if you don't.

Next I"m starting The Dungeon by Phillip Jose Farmer.

I'm reading the Left Behind series.. I loove it. I'm on number 6(I think), The Mark. It's Christian Fiction so I'm not sure how many people would actually pick it up, but hey might as well mention it.

Love Harry Potter so much that I cannot read the last book because then I'd have to admit to myself that it is the last book.. lol

I recommend "Then We Came to the End" by Joshua Ferris. It was strangely moving.

I recently started "The Culprits" by Robert Hough.

I just bought that! I read the blurb and thought it sounded fun and interesting.

But right now, I'm reading: Laughing Without an Accent by Firoozeh Dumas.

I took a break from books once school ended, but I'm letting myself read for FUN again! WOOHOO!

I'm re-reading "The Time Travellers Wife" right now. Love this book.

I've got to make a trip to Chapters soon and pick up some new reading material so I'm not just re-reading things I've read a hundred times before.

I'm about to read "The Knights of Black and White" by Jack Whyte. Not my usual genre, but Hubby just finished it and is raving about how good it was.
