Finally! :D

(Couch damage from cats - he's blameless so far. ; )

His ears fall lopsidedly and man-o-man is he cute! He's also making it difficult to get a good pic of him - lol. :D

He's doing great at house/clicker/training! It's tricky finding a way for the 2.5 yo to "help train him", though... ;)

Still no name - current leaders are:

Rush
Snix (snickerdoodle - color)
Zoltan Zahbeeb (arabic for golden raisin)
Ranger/Scout?
Duster
Walter
Otto

I like Walter/Wally the best now actually, lol.

My wife suggested that one early on and it's still in the running. It is cute, but I tend away from 'people' names. Besides, "Walter the Farting Dog" is already taken.

A good friend suggested Norman - which i could see - but i'm trying to ignore. :p

have to tell you--before I even saw your name suggestions, I saw his picture and said to myself "I'd name him Snickers"-- :p So my vote is for Snix.

Wow! He's super adorable. I do like Snickers, especially if you aren't going for 'people' names. I like candy-type names, Reeses, Snickers, etc. He's adorable. What kind of dog is he? He kinda looks like some kind of a Border Terrier mix?

I like Snix, too. I like Scout, but there about 22,577 dogs I know named Scout.

He's adorable!

i say Skip!! I love that name!

Ooooh, Skip's a good one!!! And I like Otto too, I didn't even see that suggestion the first time I went through the thread, idk why.

That's what I guessed on the original thread about him, but I think he said he was supposed to be a Schnauzer/Boxer or something similar. I think he looks like a Border Terrier mix, too, though!

His mother is mini-schnau, and the father is unknown.

The vet that delivered them said the pups looked like boxer pups, but I'm starting to doubt that's the case as his paws aren't much bigger than his legs - and his legs are short and his build overall stocky, not front-heavy as I'd assume a boxer's would be. I do think his body looks quite like a schnauzer's. Those colors, though... who knows? :>

Duly noted on the name votes; we're still slinging suggestions and seeing what sticks. (whoa... alliteration! ;))

Zeek! Kilo! Ringo! Zero! Boone! Abe! Giza! Rip(ley)... oi!

He sure is stinkin cute tho! :p

He's awesome!

My favorite times with him are when my wife gets to enjoy the brief 'chilled out' pup when the kids are in bed. :)

Names are crazy insane... we both love Winston (new suggestion tonight) and Olin (grandfather's name) but hadn't considered them before tonight. I do love Snickerdoodle, though, and it seems to fit his colors well.

Speaking of which, he has some darker colored hairs on his back, under the tan... can't tell how widespread it is, but it's certainly quite a splotch. I wonder what it'll turn into... :D
