Since my braids have fuzzed out and I'm starting my new job at Barnes & Noble in two days, I've decided to change up my hair :O I've almost always had it long or in a short ponytail, but now I'm seriously considering cutting it kind of short, either so that I just fluff it up every morning, condition, and let it just sit there in curls with maybe a cute headband, or have it long enough that I can pull it up into a poof.

Having natural hair is just so much more maintenance than I could ever care for :p I always wonder why I couldn't be born with just straight hair so it could still be long and easy without having to find a parlor, get it permed, get it straightened, comb like the dickens, and go picking styles all the time.

But I'm actually looking forward to changing it up.

Short and curly sucks balls. I've been dealing with it for months. It NEVER sits right, is always in your face, etc. Sometimes it's cute but you have to work at it. My curls are different, though.

Honestly, just go natural and do a ponytail or bun. No reason to chop off your hair unless you want to.

This is super cute:

Although I just saw the one on the left and it's ridiculously adorable.

Ooh, I love the first one and the left bottom!

Apparently my mom already booked me an appointment for a blow dry and curl when she got to work today  At least it doesn't sound like I'll have it drastically cut or anything.

Just started taking them out and surprisingly my hair is super soft and...compliant?!!? Usually when it's completely natural it just...it's a forest of doom. I tell people not to touch it or their hand will never come back. Plus I usually can't even pull a decent ponytail because it just wants to puff out so badly. But this first bit is actually all wavy and nice. Oooh.

'Tis the year I make everyone on my Christmas list homemade gifts because:
1. It's 2:20AM
2. Pinterest
3. Bucket list is to do this

Hope they don't all turn out super shitty and I have to go out& but everyone real presents. That would be unfortunate..

So I guess some kids didn't like what we were handing out, and decided to put it in our mailbox instead of just saying "no, thank you". Jeez, if you don't want the candy then I'll eat it!!

How did this man survive on his own.

He has a cold. (And is sure he is going to die.) I told him to take an antihistamine and acetaminophen. He takes the antihistamine, but refuses the Tylenol because "he doesn't need it". He goes to work today, is feeling really achey. Goes to the minimart and picks up something for "cold and flu symptoms". Fails to see the giant "NIGHT TIME" letters on the package. And what is in it? An antihistamine and acetaminophen (plus the sleep aid I use to knock myself out at night).

Now he's fighting the cold AND the sleep aid. He should have just listened to me and taken what I told him to take...*sigh*

He is soooooo uber pathetic. I'm pretty sure I'm a day behind him with my own symptoms and...it's not that bad. Boys are wimps.

Got a job interview for a .2 job. Even being me, I think I'd like more hours than that, but hey, at least if I get it it'd be some more funds coming in!

There is this guy here I have seen like a dozen times. It bugs me because I swear I know him from somewhere! But I don't. But I can't place it.

Finally read his name tag and he's my old personal trainer's identical twin. Only not nearly as fit and with a beard and in fancy work clothes and not gym clothes.

So trippy.

Middie has now gone to the bathroom with at least 3 people.

What amazes me, is that it's total non-dog people inviting him in when he sits pathetically at the door. I'm pretty certain he's crawling into their laps while they're on the toilet.

DEAR DOG: The humans will not be flushed down the toilet if you don't go supervise them. Okay, they're completely trashed, so MAYBE they could flush themselves down it, but how would you rescue them? HOW?

Let's plan ALL THE THINGS. FOREVER. Redo the budget, look up credit reports, look at housing options for between January and forever, create dog training spreadsheets...

It isn't really that helpful. None of these things contain instant gratification. I need instant gratification. I'm just driving myself MORE crazy with this crap.

Job offer was nice, but again, the WAITING for them to get back to me.

I have zero patience these days. I want everything to happen NAO.

I have applied for a job and I'm not sure about it.

It involves dropping out of college, moving to England and earning less than I do now with 4 part time jobs.

It would be fantastic experience for me, it's the the industry I'd like to be in, experience tends to be valued more than degrees in this industry, it's pet friendly so I could have my dogs and I would be independent because accommodation is provided.

I have a phone interview tomorrow but now that I have written everything down it seems a much worse idea than it previously did. I just want to be out of this house and independent so much. I had my life planned and this wasn't where I was meant to be. But then the job isn't going to fix that. It's only going to make it worse and realistically I'll never get a really good, high paying job. But it's what I want to do, just on the very bottom tier.

cleaned the everloving **** out of my bedroom, put everything in its bins, swept and mopped, and took a moist rag to every dusty hairy surface.

what is it about a clean room that makes me feel so HAPPY?

also, i need a ****ing air purifier. this place is DUSTY. not even my old apartment next door to seatac airport ever got this dusty. i wonder if this is why i wake up with nosebleeds every morning
