Is becoming a recluse an option for a life goal? It's not that I dislike people, it's just that I would like them all to go away and not bother me. Off the grid, self-sufficient, see people once a year.

I'm doing an exercise where you're supposed to write down, among other things, how you want to effect your family and community. By being a hermit in the middle of nowhere with eight dogs, so Uhhh none?

My new favorite quote, from the end of Kim Harrison's new book:

"Money drives the world, but when everything falls apart to leave the underpinnings of our life bare to the scrutiny of critics and theives, the only thing remaining, the only thing that can't be taken away, is the love you hold for the people you care about."

My Fruit By The Foot has a warning that the paper backing needs to be removed before eating. Not sure if that makes me want to laugh or cry.

So apparently someone wants to build a 92000 sq ft castle house right next to my dads new house. Set to be the largest house in the us.

1. Why Oklahoma?

2. Who are these people?

90' spires and a moat....

Not "Why Oklahoma?"

BECAUSE Oklahoma.

:p

(That really is weird. I mean I realize it has multiple stories but that is nearly two ACRES of house. Castle. Whatever.)

So, I went in for a Neuropsychological evaluation (it was fun, I got to play with blocks and was asked if I liked to set fires :rofl1: ), due to suspected ADD, and looks like I do indeed have it. Well, that does explain a lot.

While I was laying in bed this morning awake due to the storm, I was keeping myself occupied by thinking of potential ferret names, since my theme is they must have a first and middle name. (And I have to be careful to not name the ferret anything close to a potential baby name. Which is harder than it sounds!)

I have a problem. And I want a pair of ferrets now, please and thank you. Probably won't happen for another year, though. *sigh*

Are Hyundai's reliable?

I'm really loving the looks (and prices I've been finding!) of the Eleantra GT. But I don't know much about them.... or Hyundai in general for that matter.

Hmmmm.

My other options include Nissan Rogue and Honda Accord.
