To make a long story shorter:
My mom has ADHD and one day she was on the front porch looking for our missing spare key. She noticed that one of the rails was messed up and it needed to be fixed. She decided to take down the entire railing (pretty much anyways). So with that being done, she then painted the remaining posts. As well as the shutters and the front door.
This is before (only picture I could find)... and I know it isn't the best, but you get the idea (hopefully). Railing up, green shutters, white door...
And after! Railing gone, black shutters, red door...

I have to say that I really do love it - especially the railings being gone. Me, mom and Harleigh sat out there this evening and it was so nice
