Worked out a deal with the lady I house-sat for a few weeks ago. I can come use her internet connection any time during the day (she's a teacher and not around during the day), as long as I take her Golden Retriever for a training walk while I'm here.
Now I don't have to try and find a spot in the library at school (which is always packed).

Yay fast internet and dog training!!

I bought a car! It's the first one I've bought and it's new and I paid the downpayment with real money from my bank and not a credit card. And before the car loan, I had $0 in debt. :D

Michael should come home either today or tomorrow. :D I'm still in Indiana, but I'm hoping he will come home Sunday afternoon so he can pick me up from the airport when I arrive. Will be a nice role reversal - him waiting for me to come home vs the other way around. Ha.

Managed to drag Josh to the Toronto Zombie Walk yesterday. After 4 years of him avoiding it and telling me it's "not his scene" he finally gave in. And I'm pretty sure he had more fun than I did - he's already planning for next year lmao.

I haven't had that much fun in a while, couldn't have asked for better weather either.

My husband applied for a different position within the company a few months back. He was offered the position 2 weeks ago and accepted the offer. He was/is concerned because it will be a big change, but I think he is coming to terms with it. I'm happy that his current manager and the manager of the department he is moving to appreciate his skill and talent.

I put my good news in it's own thread but I'll share it here too lol. I became a Jamberry nails consultant.

why is this good news? Because it HOPEFULLY means I'll be able to replace the income from the preschool with income from Jamberry and hopefully won't have to work at the preschool anymore after this school year lol.

700? Omg we do less than 250.
Yes, we were so crazy busy! We never caught up until right at 6:30, which is the time we close. Oh and I forgot to mention the MANY flu shots the pharmacist had to give in the midst of that 700.

We had done around 300 before 3pm and they just kept on coming haha.

I've been at my new job for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. I was getting so burned out at my previous job, and I wasn't enjoying it anymore, but I had so many hesitations about leaving. I'm now 100% sure that I made the correct decision, and I'm so happy. I'm constantly looking forward to my next day at work, and when I'm there, the time just flies by. It's a great environment, my co-workers are awesome, and I'm learning so much. I'm so happy that this opportunity came around when it did, and that I seized it.
